Bill to prevent Frauds and Perjuries.
The Earl of Dorset reported, "That the Committee for the Bill for preventing Frauds and Perjuries have met several Times; and are of Opinion, that the said Bill is fit to be engrossed, with some Amendments."
Which being read Twice, and Agreed to, the House ordered the said Bill to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.
Writs of Error brought in.
The Lord Chief Justice of the Court of King's Bench in the usual Manner brought in Two Writs of Error; videlicet,
Between Norfolk Plaintiff, and Symball Defendant.
Tremenheere Plaintiff, and Tresilian Defendant.

The Earl Rivers, Vicecomes Newport, and the Lord Eure, were added to the Committee for the Bill concerning the Manufacture of Tobacco Pipes.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for Preservation of the Fishing in several Rivers of this Kingdom."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to these Lords following:
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Thursday next, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Prince's Lodgings; and to adjourn as they please.
Bill for further securing the Protestant Religion.
The House was adjourned into a Committee, to proceed in the Consideration of the Bill for further Securing the Protestant Religion.
The House being resumed;
The Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee have made a considerable Progress in this Bill; but desire another Day may be appointed, for the House to be put into a Committee, to proceed therein."
And the House ordered, To proceed further therein To-morrow Morning, in a Committee of the whole House.
Countess of Huntingdon Privilege, versus Walker and Brown, for arresting her.
Upon Oath made at the Bar of this House, and upon reading the Petition of Lucy Countess Dowager of Huntingdon, complaining of a Breach of the Privilege of the Peerage of this Realm committed upon her Person, by her being arrested and violently taken out of her Coach by Bailiffs, and detained a Prisoner for Two Days, by the Prosecution of William Walker, an Attorney of the King's Bench, at the Suit of John Browne Woodmonger, who would not own the Privilege due to, and claimed by, the said Countess of Huntington:
Walker and Brown to be attached.
After due Consideration had thereof, it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, or his Deputy, shall forthwith attach the Persons of the said William Walker and John Browne, and bring them in safe Custody to the Bar of this House, for their said Offences; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.
To Sir George Charnock Knight, Serjeant at Arms attending this House, his Deputy and Deputies, and to all Mayors, Bailiffs, Constables, &c.
Hastings to attend.
Upon reading the Petition of Lucy Countess Dowager of Huntington, complaining of a Breach of the Privilege of the Peerage of this Realm, committed upon her Person, in October last, by her being arrested and violently taken out of her Coach by Bailiffs, by the Means of Mr. Hastings, then Undersheriff, at the Suit of John Browne:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Mr. Hastings be, and is hereby, required to appear at the Bar of this House on Thursday the Eighth Instant, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, to answer to the said Complaint; and hereof he may not fail.
