Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for restoring the Honour of Baron Audley of Hely to James Lord Audley and others herein mentioned, and also for restoring them in Blood."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it; and that the Lords have agreed to the Northern Borders Bill.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Tymothy Baldwin and Sir Andrew Hacket Knights:

To deliver to them the Bill concerning the Lord Audley, and to desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Also to acquaint them, that the Lords have agreed to the Bill for Continuance of Two Acts, for preventing Theft and Rapine on the Northern Borders of England, without any Alterations.

Bill to prevent the Growth of Popery.

Hodie 1 vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to prevent the Growth of Popery."

Dean of St. Paul's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable the Dean of St. Paul's in London, and his Successors, to grant Leases of his and their Estate in the Parish of Shadwell, for Forty Years."

St. Asaph Church, &c. and to annex Rectories, Bill.

Hodie, 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the appropriating the Rectories of Llanhayader, in Mochuant, in the Counties of Denbigh and Mountgomery, and Skewiog, in the County of Flint, for Repairs of the Cathedral Church of St. Asaph, and the better Maintenance of the Choir there; and also for the uniting and annexing several Rectories Sine Cura, within the Diocese of St. Asaph aforesaid, to the Vicarages of the several Parishes where the said Rectories are."

Fines and Recoveries Bill.

Hodie 1 vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the better Assurance of such as claim under ancient Fines and Recoveries."

Creditors to recover Debts of Executors, &c. Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable Creditors to recover their Debts of the Executors of Administrators of Executors de son Tort demesne."

Thynne's Bill.

Hodie 1 vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable Thomas Thynne, of Longleate, in the County of Wilts, Esquire, to settle a Jointure on a Wife, of certain Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, therein mentioned."

Sir Ralph Bankes' Bill.

The Lord Privy Seal reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill concerning the Estate of Sir Ralph Bankes deceased; wherein their Lordships have made some Amendments, which are offered to the Consideration of the House."

The said Amendments, being read Twice, were agreed to with a small Addition.

L. Cullen's Bill.

The Committee for the Lord Viscount Cullen's Bill are to meet on Friday next, in the Morning; and the Earl of Aylesbury is added to the said Committee.

Brend's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable Francis Brend Esquire, the surviving Son and Issue Male of Sir Mathew Brend Knight, deceased, to sell certain Lands, for the raising of Three Thousand Pounds, for the Portions of Frances and Elizabeth Brend, the Daughters of Thomas Brend Esquire, deceased, late Elder Brother of the said Francis Brend."

Servants and Apprentices Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the well governing of Servants and Apprentices."

Deputy Steward of Westm. to attend, for not keeping the Street leading to this House clear.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Deputy Steward for the City of Westminster be; and is hereby, required to attend this House To-morrow at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, to answer to a Complaint of not executing an Order of this House, dated the 22th Day of this Instant February, for preventing the Interruption made in the Passages to the Parliament by Hackney Coaches, Carts, and Drays, and directed to the High Steward of the City of Westminster, or his Deputy, for that Purpose.

Committee for Prisons to send for Persons.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords Committees appointed to examine the State of the Security of the Prisoners in the Prisons of The King's Bench and Flcete, &c. have hereby Power given them, by their Order, to send for Prisoners in either of the said Prisons (with their Keepers, and such other Persons and Witnesses as their Lordships shall from Time to Time think fit) for their fuller Information concerning any of the Matters committed to them.
