This Day, according to former Order, Sir John Jacob, John Crispe, and Thomas Crispe, delivered at the Bar their Answer to the Petition of Symon Middleton and others.
Committee to consider of Decay of Trade, &c. Reducing Interest of Money.
The House was adjourned into a Committee, to take into further Consideration the Business concerning reducing of Interest-money.
The House was resumed.
The Earl of Essex was appointed to make Report Tomorrow Morning.
Ly. Read versus Sir John Read.
Upon Report this Day made from the Lords Committees appointed to receive and consider of Petitions, That the Petition, intituled, "The humble Appeal and Petition of Dame Allisimon Reade, Wife of Sir John Reade of Brockett Hall, in the County of Hertford, Baronet," is fit to be considered of by this House:"
The said Petition being read, as also the Answer of the said Sir John Reade thereunto, and likewise the said Lady's Reply:
Upon Consideration had thereof, it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition of the said Dame Allisimon Reade be, and is hereby, dismissed this House.
