Belcham, committed for treasonable Words, released.
Upon Signification to this House, "That Captain Anthony Belcham, that was committed Yesterday to Newgate for speaking treasonable Words against the King, is an Officer of the Army, as appears by his Petition, whereby he acknowledges his high Offence, and submits to this House, and desires to have the Benefit of His Majesty's Offer in His Declaration:"
It is ORDERED, That the said Belcham be released from his Imprisonment in Newgate, and left to the General, to do with him as he shall think fit.
D. of Bucks and L. Craven to be restored to the Possession of their Estates;
It being moved, "That the Duke of Bucks and the Lord Craven might be put into Possession of their Estates, which are or were in the Hands of those Persons that are to be secured, and their Estates to be seized, for being the late King's Judges:"
It is ORDERED, That the Duke of Bucks and the Lord Craven shall be put into the present Possession of their Estates, which are or were in the Hands of any of those Persons.
and the E. of Derby, &c.
The like Order is to be for the Earl of Derby, and all other Lords that are in the like Condition.
A Letter from the Lords that were sent from this House to His Majesty, was read:
Letter from the Lords who went to wait on the King.
"My Lord,
"We have delivered the Letter and Message intrusted to us by the House of Peers, and found a most gracious Reception from His Majesty, who is pleased to declare (which we desire your Lordship to communicate to the House), That He intends to part from hence on Monday next, being the 21th of this Month, to land at Dover; and, after a short Stay at Canterbury, to continue His Journey to London, and there to reside with His Court at Whitehall. This we are commanded to impart to your Lordship from His Majesty, and remain

E. Derby, concerning Isle of Man.
ORDERED, That the Patent of the Earl of Derby to his Title to the Isle of Man shall be perused, that so he may be restored to the same.
Pescod, Prothonotary in Chancery.
Upon reading the Petition of Rob't Pescod; shewing, "That he hath Letters Patents from the King, for the Prothonotary's Place in Chancery:"
It is ORDERED to be left to His Majesty.
King's Reception.
ORDERED, That the Committee for the King's Reception do meet this Afternoon; and to consider what is fit for the present to be done, to receive His Majesty.
Answer to H. C. about the Votes, &c. concerning the late King's Judges.
The House was adjourned into a Committee, to debate the Particulars which were drawn up Yesterday, in order to an Answer to the Matter of the Free Conference with the House of Commons.
The House was resumed.
The Question being put, "Whether to have this Paper that came from the Committee to be re-committed?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
ORDERED, That this Committee do meet this Afternoon; and the Judges do attend.
The Earl of Northumb. Lord Willoughby, and the Lord Craven, are added to the Committee for the aforesaid Paper.
All Souls College Woods.
ORDERED, That an Order be granted, for preventing of Waste committed in All Soules Colledge Woods.
Message to H. C. for Committees to meet about the King's Reception.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Doctor Childe and Mr. Hobarte:
To let them know, that the Lords have appointed the Lords Committees for the King's Reception to meet this Afternoon; and to desire that the Committee of that House might likewise meet.
Warren and Keyling, put out of the Commission of the Peace.
Justice Warren and Justice Keyling acknowledged, at this Bar, their Error and Indiscretion, in bailing Meadborne, contrary to the Law, for speaking treasonable Words against His Majesty.
Yet the House ORDERED, That they shall be put out of the Commission for the Peace for the County of Midd.
Bushel's Order.
ORDERED, That the Order concerning Mr. Bushell is referred to the Committee for Petitions.
Answers from H. C.
Mr. Rich and Mr. Eden return Answer from the House of Commons:
That they agree to the Order concerning the Records in Mr. Phelpes's Hands.
Doctor Childe, &c. returns Answer from the House of Commons:
That they have appointed their Committee to meet their Lordships this Afternoon, concerning the King's Reception.
E. Derby to have Possession of the Isle of Man.
Upon Perusal of the Patent of the Earl of Derby:
It is ORDERED, That he shall be forthwith restored to his rightful Possession of the Isle of Man.
Order to stay the Waste of the Woods, &c. belonging to All Souls College.
Upon Information given this Day to the House, "That there is great Waste made, by cutting and felling of Timber, in Wappenham and Wedon Coppices, in the County of North'ton, which belong to the College of All Soules, in Oxon:"
It is ORDERED, That there shall be no more Waste made in or upon the Timber and Woods standing and being in Wappenham and Wedon aforesaid, or any other Place belonging to the said College of All Soules, by cutting any Timber or Woods, or carrying away any that hath been cut, or now remaineth upon the Premises: And hereof all whom it doth or may concern are to take Notice, and to yield their Obedience to this Order, as they will answer the contrary to this House.
