ORDERED, That a Note be given to the Speaker, of the Names of those Lords that were absent at the Calling of the House this Day, and no Excuse was made for them, that so the House may consider thereof.

Sir Hen. Thyn's Bill:

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for settling the Manor and Lands of Kempsford in Sir Henry Frederick Thyne, and the Heirs of his Body, and the Manor of Buckland, and divers other Manors and Lands, in him and the Heirs Males of his Body."

Sir J. Thyn to be heard about it.

Also the Petition of Sir James Thyne was read; desiring Counsel may be heard, at this Bar, before the aforesaid Bill be further proceeded in.

And it is ORDERED, That Sir Henry Frederick Thyne and Sir James Thyne shall be heard, by their Counsel on both Sides, at this Bar, upon the whole Matter of the Bill and Petition now depending in this House, on Monday the Second of December next, at Ten of the Clock; and, after hearing Counsel at the Bar, the Lords will take further Consideration of the said Bill and Petition aforesaid.

ORDERED, That the Earl of Marlborough and the Lord Lovelace are added to the Committee for the Bill concerning the Dutchy of Cornwall.

Committee for Privileges.

ORDERED, That the Committee for Privileges do sit on Monday next, in the Afternoon.

Bill concerning the Dutchy of Cornwall.

ORDERED, That Mr. Attorney General shall be heard what he can say on His Majesty's Behalf, concerning the Bill touching the Dutchy of Cornwall, before any further Proceedings be upon the said Bill.

Order to keep the Streets clean leading to this House.

Whereas there hath been of late much Interruption, by Carts and Drays, in King's Streete, in the City of Westm. so that the Lords and others are frequently hindered from coming to Parliament, to the Disservice of the King and Kingdom, and the Hinderance of the Members of Parliament passing to and from the Houses of Parliament aforesaid:

It is ORDERED, therefore, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Steward of the City of Westm. or his Deputy, together with the Justices of Peace within the said City, shall, by their Care, and Directions to the Constables within the said Limits, take special Order, that no Cart or Dray make any Stay, more than for disburdening its Carriage, and that no empty Hackney Coach be suffered to make any Stay, between Whitehall and The Old Pallace, Westm. aforesaid, from Nine of the Clock in the Morning, to One in the Afternoon of the same Day, during all the Sitting of this Parliament; and that no unnecessary Carriages by Carts or Drays be permitted to go through the said Streets, between the Hours aforesaid, during the Sitting of both Houses of Parliament: And herein a special Care is to be taken by the said Justices and their Constables, as the contrary will be answered to this House.

L. Purbeck's Peerage.

The Name of Viscount Purbecke not being in the List of the Names of the Lords by which this House was called this Day:

It is ORDERED, To be referred to the Committee of Privileges, to consider whether he be to sit in this House as a Peer or not.

(fn. 2) ORDERED, That Mr. Attorney General is to be heard, on His Majesty's Behalf, concerning the Bill to enable the King to make Leases of Lands belonging to the Dutchy of Cornwall, before the Committee proceed any further therein.
