Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable John Robinson to sell Lands, for Payment of Debts, and making Provision for his Younger Children."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to these Lords following; videlicet,
Their Lordships, or any Five; to meet on Monday next, in the Afternoon, at Three of the Clock, in the Prince's Lodgings; and to hear all Persons concerned.
Ashdown Forest, &c. Bill.
The Earl of Dorsett reported, "That the Committee have considered of the Bill concerning Ashdown Forrest and Broyle Parke; and, having heard the Parties therein concerned, their Lordships have made some Alterations therein, which they offer to the Consideration of the House."
The said Alterations being read Twice, and Agreed to, it is ORDERED, That the Bill be engrossed, with the said Alterations.
Briscoe's Bill.
Next, the Lord Mohun reported the Bill for empowering Sir John Drake and others to make Sale of Lands, for Payment of the Portion of Ellen Briscoe Widow; wherein the Committee, having heard fully Counsel on all Sides, have thought to make some Alterations and Amendments; which, being read Twice, were Agreed to, after some Debate.
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to empower Sir John Drake and others to make Sale of Lands, for Payment of the Portion of Ellen Brisco."
The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Alterations and Additions now read, shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
