Ordered, That Mr. George Lessen shall have a Pass, to go into Holland.

Harris sent for, for entering the Counters of Peterborough's House.

Upon reading the Affidavit of George Vaux; complaining, "That one Harris, a Constable, did enter the House of the Countess of Peeterbourough, and in it executed a pretended Warrant upon One of her Servants:"

It is Ordered, That the said Harris shall attend this House on Monday Morning next, to shew Cause why he entered the House of the said Countess.

Ordinance to associate the Five Counties of N. Wales.

The Ordinance for associating the Five Counties of North Wales, was read, and committed to these Lords following, to consider of it, and report the same on Monday Morning next:

Any Two; to meet this Afternoon.

Ordinance for Martial Law at Sea.

The Ordinance for granting Power of Martial Law to the Lord Admiral, was again read.

And the Question being put, "Whether to agree to this Ordinance as it is now read?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

And ordered to be sent to the House of Commons, for their Concurrence.

Message from the H. C. with Ordinances;-about Major Rolfe;-for the Revenue Committee to meet; and with Orders.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Rob't Pye Knight, &c.; who brought divers Particulars, wherein they desire their Lordships Concurrence:

1. To put their Lordships in Mind of the long Imprisonment of Major Rolph.

2. To desire that the Lords that are of the Committee for the Revenue may meet this Afternoon, about some Business of Importance.

3. An Order concerning the Judges going their Circuits.

Read, and respited.

4. An Addition to the Order for Five Hundred Pounds for Garrisons. (Here enter it.)

Agreed to.

5. An Order for a Committee to be for the Town and County of South'ton. (Here enter it.)

Agreed to.

Major Rolse's Business.

Ordered, That the Committee do meet this Afternoon, to consider of the Answer to the Matter of the late Conference with the House of Commons concerning Major Rolph, and report the same on Monday.

The Answer returned was:

Answer to the H. C.

That concerning the Business of Major Rolph, and the Votes concerning Judges going Circuits, their Lordships will take the same into Consideration, and send an Answer by Messengers of their own: To all the rest, their Lordships do agree.

Ly. Harcourt, a Pass.

Ordered, That Colonel Jones shall give Possession to the Lady Harcourt, of the Lands granted to her by Ordinance of Parliament.

Impost to be paid to Peers.

Ordered, That it be recommended to the Lords that are of the Committee of the Revenue, to take Care that the Peers of this Kingdom may have their Impost paid.

Chamberlain, Leave to come to London.

Ordered, That Mr. Chamberlaine shall have Leave granted him to come from Oxford, to London, about some urgent Occasions concerning his own Estate, and to return to Oxford again; and the Concurrence of the House of Commons to be desired therein.

Morris, alias Pointz, Business.

Ordered, That any Two of the Judges may meet concerning the Business of Morris, referred unto them.

Worsley's Petition.

Upon reading the Petition of Thomas Worseley:

It is Ordered, To be referred to the Consideration of the Committee of Petitions, who are to report their Opinions thereupon to this House.

Ly. Paget, a Pass.

Ordered, That the Lady Pagett shall have a Pass, to go to the Earl of Holland.

E. of Holland's Consinement.

Ordered, That the Report concerning the Earl of Holland's Business shall be made on Monday next.

E. of Lincoln, L. Colraine, and Drake, versus Ly. Delawar.

Ordered, That the Business of the Earl of Lyncolne, and also the Business of the Lord Colrayne, and likewise the Business concerning Roger Drake, wherein the Lady La Warr is concerned, shall be heard, on Tuesday come Sevennight, by Counsel on both (fn. 1) Sides, concerning the Matter of Privilege.

Dr. Bennett Leave to be absent.

Ordered, That Dr. Bennett shall have Leave to (fn. 1) be absent for Fourteen Days.

Ly. Cheek's Servant, a Pass.

Ordered, That a Servant of the Lady Essex Cheeke shall have a Pass, to go to the Earl of Holland.

Ware and Davenport.

Ordered, That the Errors between Ware and Davenport shall be argued the 29th of this Month.

Sir W. Button's Petition about his Composition.

Upon the Petition of Sir Wm. Button Knight and Baronet read this Day in the House, concerning his Composition for his Delinquency:

It is Ordered, That the said Petition and Contents thereof are hereby referred to the Committee for the Articles of Oxon, for the Relief of the Petitioner therein.

Additional Order concerning 500 l. ordered for victualing Garrisons.

"Ordered, by the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament, That the Order of the 18th Instant, for Five Hundred Pounds for Garrisons, have a Clause added, That the Monies be paid to such as the Committee of Lords and Commons at Derby House shall appoint to receive it; and that their Receipt for the same shall be a sufficient Discharge to the Treasurers at Habberdash'rs Hall; and that the same Monies be laid out by the Direction of the said Committee."

Committee for South'ton.

"Ordered, by the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament, That Robert Walop Esquire, Sir Henry Mildmay, Colonel Whitehead, Colonel Norton, John Button, John Bulkley, John Lisle, and Robert Reynolds, Esquires, Peter Legay now Mayor of South'ton, Edward Hoper, George Gollop, Richard St. Barbe, Edward Exton, Peter Murford, Esquires, Richard Mayor, Francis Rivett, Esquires, Daniell Hercent, John Hildesly, Gentlemen, Robert Wroth, Captain George Embry, Captain Joseph Delamott, and Mr. Jacob Legacy, be a Committee for the Town and County of South'ton, for the Execution of all Ordinances of Parliament in the said Town and County."
