Declaration from Scotland.
The Declaration from the Committee of Estates of the Kingdom of Scotland, was read.
Desires of the Scots.
Next the Desires of the Parliament of Scotland, of the 26th of April last, were read.
Declaration against the Scots who have entered England.
Next, the Vote sent from the House of Commons, for declaring those Forces that are now come out of Scotland into England, in an hostile Manner, under the Command of Duke Hamilton, to be Enemies to the Kingdom of England, was read.
Rejected.
And the Question being, "Whether to agree to this Vote?"
It was Resolved in the Negative.
Message to the H. C. for Committees to meet about it, and about a Treaty for Peace;-with Stewart's Order, and with Bradshaw's Ordinance.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Doctor Heath and Doctor Bennett:
To desire that the Committee formerly appointed to consider of Peace may meet this Afternoon, in the Painted Chamber, at Three of the Clock; and to desire their Concurrence, that they may consider of the Declaration sent from the Kingdom of Scotland, and also of their Desires of the 26th of April last: Likewise to consider of some Expedient, that the Treaty between the King and the Parliament may be speedied; and that Care may be taken, to prevent the casting of the Two Kingdoms of England and Scotland into War and Blood.
2. To desire Concurrence in Mr. Stewart's Order.
3. To desire Concurrence in the Ordinance for placing of Mr. George Bradshawe in the Headship of Balioll Colledge.
Vote to recall the Commissioners from Scotland.
Ordered, That the Vote for re-calling the Commissioners in Scotland shall be respited for Ten Days.
Declaration of the Scots.
The Question being put, "Whether the Declaration from the Kingdom of Scotland shall be printed and published?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Auditors of the Army Accompts, to have Apartments in Worcester House.
An Order was read, for the Committee of Sequestrations for Westm. (fn. 1) to assign convenient Rooms in Worcester House, for the Use of the Auditors appointed by Ordinance for making and stating Accompts of the Soldiery; which was Agreed to, and ordered to be sent to the House of Commons, for their Concurrence.
Adjourn.
