The roll is complete, and the first sheet is endorsed with the date of the account in a contemporary hand. The roll consists of eight sheets, 30 cm wide and sewn end to end. With the exception of sheet seven, which measures 23 cm in length, the sheets are 40–42 cm long.

Paid for four gowns at 6s. 8d. each given to four farmers on taking up their farms, viz. to the rent-collector of Belchamp St. Paul, to the farmer of the rectory there, to John Grene, farmer of Wickham St. Paul, and to Edmund Prentesse, farmer of Drayton, £1 6s. 8d.
Paid to the collector, John, prior of Hurley, of half a tenth lately granted to king, payable at the feast of St. John the Baptist 1487, and the feast of St. Andrew the Apostle 1487, as shown by two acquittances, £5 6s. 8d.
