Thursday, November 5th. Present:—Mr. de Grey.
Lord George Germain, one of his Majesty's principal Secretaries of State, attends.
Trade.
Read the following orders of the Lords of the Privy Council,
vizt.:
Order, dated November 3rd, 1778, referring the petition of
Robert Mangles, praying leave to export to Flushing,
on board the ship Dunkirk, sundry iron cannon, for the
use of a privateer.
Order, dated November 3rd, 1778, referring the petition
of Nicholas Le Messurier, praying leave to export to
Guernsey from Southampton, on board the ship Queen,
certain military stores, for trade.
Their Lordships, upon consideration of the two foregoing petitions, were of opinion, that the exportation therein prayed for should be allowed; and the draughts of two reports to the Lords of the Privy Council thereupon, having been prepared, were approved, transcribed and signed.

Order, dated November 3rd, 1778, referring to this Board,
the petition of William Wallace, praying leave to export
from Liverpool to Dublin, on board the ship Lucy, sundry
military stores, for use of a Letter of Marque.
Order, dated November 6th, 1778, referring to this Board,
the petition of William Manning, praying leave to export
to the Island of St. Christopher, on board the ship Rowley,
sundry military stores, for the use and defence of that
Island.

Order, dated November 10th. 1778. referring to this Board.
the petition of Messieurs de Gruchy and Fiott. praying
leave to export to Jersey, on board the ship London
Packet, sundry military stores, for arming trading vessels
and private ships of war.
Their Lordships, upon consideration of the three foregoing petitions, were of opinion, that the exportation prayed for should be allowed: and the draughts of three reports to the Lords of the Privy Council thereupon, having been prepared. were approved, transcribed and signed.

Read an order of the Lords of the Privy Council, dated November 18th, 1778. referring to this Board the petition of Thomas Monkland, praying leave to export to the East Indies, on board the ship Grafton, five thousand sword blades, for private trade.
Their Lordships, upon consideration of the foregoing petition, were of opinion, that the exportation prayed for should be allowed: and the draught of a report to the Lords of the Privy Council, having been prepared, was approved, transcribed and signed.
