Extract of a letter from William Mathew Burt, esquire,
Governor of the Leeward Islands, to his Lordship, dated
St. Christopher, June 9th, 1778, inclosing,
Copy of a Docket of Chancery Fees to be observed in the
Leeward Islands.
Copy of a letter from William Mathew Burt, esquire,
Governor of the Leeward Islands, to Lord George Germain,
dated St. Christopher's, June 16th, 1778, containing observations on the Docket of Chancery Fees abovementioned.

Ordered, that the Acts beforementioned be sent to Mr. Jackson, for his opinion thereupon in point of law.
Quebec.
The Secretary informed the Board, that pursuant to order of the 25th of September, he had, on the 5th instant, written to Sir Guy Carleton, transmitting a copy of the memorial of Peter Livius, esquire, Chief Justice of the Province of Quebec, and desiring that Sir Guy Carleton will be pleased to assign the reasons which induced him to remove the said Mr. Livius from his Office.

petition of William Brander, praying leave to export
certain military stores to Grenada, on board the ship
London, for the use of the militia.

petition of Dunlop and Wilson, praying leave to export to
Antigua, on board the ship Blizzard, certain military
stores, for fitting out an armed vessel.
Order in Council, dated 7th October, 1778, referring the
petition of Baugh, Ames and Company, praying leave to
export from Bristol to St. Christopher's, on board the ship
Merlin, a certain quantity of gunpowder, for the use of the
inhabitants.

a certain quantity of gunpowder, for the use of the

of Messieurs Holiday and Bamber, praying leave to export
from Liverpool to Belfast, certain military stores, by the
Belfast Packet.
Their Lordships, upon consideration of the five foregoing petitions, were of opinion, that the exportation thereby prayed for should be allowed; and the draughts of five reports to the Lords of the Privy Council thereupon, having been prepared, were approved, transcribed and signed.
