The said tenements are held of the honour of Wallingford.
Hadenham and Codington. A messuage, 78a. land, 17a. meadow and 30s. rent, held for life of Robert de Upton, clerk, as appears by a fine levied in the king’s court, by service of a rose yearly.
Cherdeslegh. A messuage and a virgate of land, held as above by the same fine, and charged in 8s. to the abbot of Tame, and 4d. to Peter Carbonel.

Two parts of the township (extent given), held without any service of the heirs of Nicholas de Audeleye, who hold the same of John de Hastang, lord of Schebeseye, by service of rendering to him when they shall do fealty 50s. and a sparrowhawk; and an assart held of the prior, &c. of Sone (sic) by service of 30s. yearly.
Bettyleye. 16s. rent held of the heirs abovesaid without any service.
James de Perrerez, her son, aged 11 at the feast of Easter last, is her next heir.

Astansfeld. A third part of the manor (extent given), held for life of James de Audeleye by service of rendering yearly a rose only.
Longeston. A moiety of a water-mill and 60s. rents of assize, similarly held for life by service of a rose.
James son of Nicholas de Audeleye, aged 12 at Christmas day last, is her heir (of the above) by reason of the reversion, and he is in the wardship of Ranulph de Kamoyse.

Ledebury. A burgage held of Master Emisius de Juvensano, portionary (porcionario) in the church of Ledebury, service unspecified; and a messuage with garden and 30a. land, held of the bishopric of Hereford by service of 5s. yearly.
Hatfeld. 10s. rent from 2 messuages and 30a. land, which Thomas Aubrey and Agnes his wife hold for life by the demise of the said Ela, with reversion to her heir, whereof a messuage and 20a. land are held of the abovesaid Master Emisius by service of 6s. and suit of court, and the other messuage with garden and 10a. land, are held of Master Gilbert de Middelton portionary in the church of Ledebury, by service of 4s. and suit of court.
Masynton. A messuage and 12a. land, held of Walter le Chaumberleyn by service of 4s. 1d. yearly and suit of court.

Eight cottages, 3 carucates of land, and a third part of a water-mill, all worth nothing on account of the devastation of the Scots, came into the king’s hands after the death of the said Henry by reason of the minority of the said John his son and heir; they are held of the king in chief by service of rendering 20s. at the king’s exchequer of Newcastle upon Tyne, and 13s. 1/2d. for cornage yearly.

A capital messuage, 127a. land, 10a. meadow, 20a. pasture, 8a. wood, 3a. moor, 22s. 7d. rent &c. held of the heir of Edmund le Botiller, a minor and in the king’s wardship, as of his manor of Shire by service of a knight’s fee; 20a. land and a windmill, held of the prior of Lewes by service of 10s. yearly at the feast of St. Pancras, on which day he ought to come to Lewes with twelve others on horseback and spend the day at the cost of the prior, who shall give him on leaving a cheese price 15d., which land and mill are not sufficient to pay that rent; and 14a. land held of Thomas de Ponynges, service unknown.
Bedyngg. Two virgates of land, now in the hands of Walter Bulmer who held them of the said John by service of 11s. 3d. yearly, held of Nicholas de Hertrugge by service of 1/20 knight’s fee, suit at his court of Wodemancote, and 2d. for sheriff’s aid yearly.

Pambere Forest. 58a. and 3r., by the perch of 20 feet, in a plot of heath in Haysull in the bailiwick of Everesle, whereof one head abuts on a bridge called ‘Wymeresford brugg,’ and the other upon land called Herewardeslond, held jointly with Constance his wife of the king in chief by service of rendering 4s. 10 3/4d. yearly to the king by the hands of the sheriff; and a messuage and 80a. arable at Bromshulle, similarly held of the king in chief as of his manor of Odiham by service of 2s. yearly and suit of court at the said manor.
