Out of the manor of Burg the said Sir Robert de Clifford gave 20 marks yearly to Sir Thomas Mounteney for life for service, and the same to Sir John Mounteney. He also granted to Sir Thomas de Hellebeck, knight, reasonable sustenance for life for himself, one esquire, three grooms, and three horses, with two robes yearly befitting a knight and two saddles (cellis), and charged his manor of Winton therewith; and for this the said Sir Thomas granted to the said Sir Robert and his heirs his manor and town of Soureby by Burg. And the said Sir Robert granted to the abbey of Heppe 4 marks yearly for a chantry to be made in the abbey for the souls of his ancestors, to be received out of the cornages and blanch rents (albis firmis) of Millenburne.
