In c. 1295 preb. was rector of Riccall, with land, a manor-house and 2 mills in Riccall, land and a manor-house in Newbald, and land in Caythorpe (Extents pp. 1-4).

Cardinal-dcn. of S. Eustachio, created 1216 (Eubel I 49); res. this preb. into pope's hands before 22 March 1217 (CPL I 48 = Reg. Hon. III no. 458 = Letters of Guala no. 180).

Gimundus

Clerk, kinsman of Aldebrandinus, papal prov. of this preb. 22 March 1217 (CPL I 48 = Reg. Hon. III no. 458 = Letters of Guala no. 180). Cf. Peter Gimund of Rome, papal chapl., can. of Laon, occ. 7 July 1257 (CPL I 348 = Reg. Alex. IV no. 2093), who was perhaps his son.

M. Adenulf dei Conti of Anagni

Nephew of pope Gregory IX (1227-41), received 50m. p.a. from a preb. of Southwell from 14 Sept. 1241 (Reg. Giffard p. 84; cf. Reg. Romeyn I 364). Papal subdcn. and chapl., pluralist in England by 1 Dec. 1257 (Reg. Giffard p. 94). Preb. of Beverley from unknown date (Beverley Fasti p. 35). Can. of London by 20 Sept. 1276 (1 Fasti I 91). Occ. as this preb. 19 March 1278 (YMF I no. 43) and as can. 18 Aug. 1280 (CPR 1272-81 p. 395). D. as this preb. by 8 Apr. 1289 (Reg. Romeyn I 376, 377).

Francesco Caetani

Nephew of cardinal Benedict (later pope Boniface VIII, 1295-1303), papal prov. of a preb. worth 100m. at least; assigned this preb. in succession to M. Adenulf 15 Apr. 1289 (Reg. Romeyn I 377). His proctor M. Bartholomew of Ferentino occ. 6 Apr. 1290 (ibid. p. 384). Transf. by abp.'s coll. to preb. Knaresborough ? 12/13 Apr. 1292 (list 31).

M. Thomas de Ceccano (fn. 194)

Said to have had papal prov. of this preb. 20 years before 1311 (Reg. Greenfield V 171; CPL II 83). Occ. as can. 2 June 1302 (CPR 1301-07 p. 38). Dispossessed by 29 Dec. 1304 (see 2 Fasti VI 75).
