First certain occ. as can. 7 Jan. 1213/14 (list 23). First occ. this preb. after 1215 (Rot. Welles II 4-5), but prob. to be identified with Robert, can. of Salisbury, parson of Shipton [1210] (Cart. St Frideswide II 245-6). Last occ. 15 and 18 Aug. 1222 (Sar. Stats. p. 70, also pd. RSO II 18; RSO I 339). Also preb. Brixworth (list 23).]

First occ. as can. 29 Sept. 1225 (RSO II 38). Agreement between him and M. Adam de Essebi, preb. Brixworth (list 23), over land in Shipton, 21 May 1225 (III/Chancellor/21 May 1225). Occ. this preb. Oct. 1226 × Feb. 1227 (app. 1; cf. Rot. Welles II 22 and Cart. St Frideswide II 250-1). Occ. several times. Last occ. 17 Feb. 1236 (Sar. Chs. p. 237).
