AN ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, for Naturalizing of Isabella of Nassawe, Wife of the Right honourable the Lord Arlington, one of his Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Sir Solom. Swale, Sir John Bennet, Sir John Birkenhead, Sir John Heath, Sir Thom. Clifford, Sir Wm. Doyley, Sir Thom. Gower, Mr. Coleman, Mr. Gray, Sir Thom. Allen, Mr. Darwyn, Sir Thom. Wendy, Sir Lancelot Lake, Mr. Pryn, Lord Fanshaw, Mr. Herbert, Sir Thom. Fance's Estate.

A Bill to make good a Recovery, heretofore suffered by Bonham Fance, was read the First time.

A Bill to prevent Abuses by Certioraris and Habeas Corpus, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Sir Charles Harbord, Mr. Pryn, Sir John Knight, Serjeant Seis, Mr. Dowdswell, Mr. Westphaling, Mr. Hardresse, Mr. Coleman, Sir Edm. Peirce, Sir Robert Atkins, Mr. Millward, Sir John Birkenhead, Sir Richard Oateley, and all the Members of this House that are of the Long Robe: And they are to meet on Monday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Privilege.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of Privileges, to examine the Matter of the Breach of Privilege objected against Ralph Grange and George Bowes, in causing the Servant of Mr. Bernard Greenevile, a Member of this House, to be arrested.

An additional Bill, to enable the Sale of Lands for the Payment of the Lord Strangford's Debts, was read the Second time.

Canary Patent.

A Petition of Eliab Hicks, and others, was read.

Resolved, &c. That the Petition be referred to the Committee appointed to consider of the Charter of the Canary Company; and to examine the Matter of the Petition; and report it, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Supply.

Ordered, That the House be resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to take Consideration of his Majesty's Supply.

And accordingly Mr. Speaker left the Chair: And

Mr. Millward took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Millward reports from the Committee of the whole House, That the Committee had passed a Vote, That the House be desired to give Direction to the Committee for their Proceeding.

The Question being put, That the House do give Direction to the Committee for their Proceeding;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

Resolved, &c. That it be referred, as an Instruction, to the Committee of the whole House, to consider of the most effectual Means they can, for raising Eighteen hundred thousand Pounds for his Majesty's Supply.

Resolved, &c. That the House will, To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed upon his Majesty's Supply.

Ordered, That all Committees which were to sit this Afternoon, be adjourned; and do sit To-morrow at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.
