Clandestine Marriages.

A Bill to prevent Inconveniencies by clandestine Marriages was read.

Ordered, That this Bill be read the Second time on Thursday next.

E. of Cleveland's Estate.

A Bill for enlarging the Time given by a former Act of Parliament to the Lord Chief Baron, and other Barons of the Exchequer, to hear and determine the Redemption of Mortgages made by the Earl of Cleveland, and the Lord Wentworth, was read.

Ordered, That this Bill be read the Second time on This-day-sevennight.

Peterborough Election.

A Petition of Sir Vere Fane was read.

Ordered, That the Petition of Sir Vere Fane be referred to the Committee of Privileges and Elections, to examine the Legality of the Return of the Writ issued for electing a Member to serve for the City of Peterborough.

A Bill for regulating of Hospitals and Free Schools, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That a Committee be appointed to look into the Laws which restrain the Exportation of native Commodities; and to bring in a Bill for transporting such Commodities as may be beneficial for the Good of the Kingdom.
