A BILL for making navigable the Rivers Wye and Lugg, in the County of Hereford, was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, That the said Bill be committed to Lord Herbert, Lord Bruce, Mr. Sandis, Serjeant Charlton, Sir Lanc. Lake, Mr. Pryn, Mr. Greenvile, Sir Rich. Braham, Sir Fra. Vincent, Mr. Smith, Sir Edw. Harley, Mr. Roger Vaughan, Sir Anth. Irby, Sir Clifford Clifton, Mr. Chetwyn, Sir Edm. Peirse, Mr. Churchill, Mr. Robinson, Sir Rich. Oatley, Colonel Kirkby, Mr. Morrice, Mr. Westphaling, Mr. Price, Sir John Brampston, Mr. Mountague, Mr. Birch, Mr. Taylor, Mr. Knight, Colonel Windham, Sir Edm. Pye, Mr. Scudamore, Sir Hum. Bennet, Sir Edw. Massey, Sir Tho. Meres, Mr. Coventry, Sir Solomon Swale, Mr. Clifford, Mr. Whorwood, Mr. Crouch, Sir Tho. Allen, Mr. Elliot, Sir Hen. North, Lord Falkland, Mr. Crooke, Mr. Vaughan, Sir Rich. Onslow, Mr. Hobby, Mr. Purcell, and all the Members of this House, that serve for the several Counties of Hereford, Gloucester, Monmouth, and the City of Bristoll: And they are to meet on Monday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Exchequer Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records: And to hear all Parties concerned; and take care of their Interest.

Brecknock Election.

Serjeant Charlton reports from the Committee of Privileges and Elections, touching the Election for the Town of Brecknock, That the Committee was of Opinion, That Sir Herbert Price was duly elected, and ought to sit as Burgess for the said Town.

Resolved, That this House doth agree with the Committee, That Sir Herbert Price was duly elected; and ought to sit as Burgess for the said Town of Brecknock.

Leimster Election.

Serjeant Charlton reports from the Committee of Privileges and Elections, touching the Election for the Borough of Leimster, That the Poll was denied to Mr. Coningsby, that was in Nomination for a Burgess for that Place; but he being a Prisoner in Execution for Debt, and not eligible, the denying the Poll to him could not avoid the Election: And therefore the Committee was of Opinion, that Mr. Cornwall and Mr. Graham were duly elected and returned as Burgesses for the said Borough of Leimster, and ought to sit.

Resolved, That this House doth agree with the Committee, that Mr. Cornwall and Mr. Graham were duly elected for the said Borough of Leimster, and ought to sit.

Packing Butter.

Mr. Knight reports from the Committee to which the Bill for preventing Abuses in the Packing of Butter was re-committed, several new and additional Amendments to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

And the said Amendments being twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to; and some Alterations being, upon the Question, agreed to be made to the Amendments formerly agreed to; and being made accordingly;

Resolved, That the said Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Bonelace, &c.

Sir Richard Temple reports from the Committee to which the Bill against importing foreign Bonelace, &c. was committed, several Amendments to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

And the said Amendments being twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to;

Resolved, That the said Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

D. of Albemarle's Patent.

An ingrossed Bill to confirm Letters Patents of his Majesty, for settling Honours, Manors, and Lands, &c. on the Duke of Albemarle, was this Day read the Third time.

And an Amendment, by adding the Words "or either of them," being, upon the Question, agreed to; and being made to the Bill;

Resolved, That the said Bill do pass: And that the Title shall be, An Act for Confirmation of certain Letters Patents, made and to be made to the Right Noble Lord George Duke of Albemarle, of several Honours, Manors, and Hereditaments, granted to him by his Majesty.

Okeover's Estate.

Amendments, sent from the Lords, to the Bill for enabling Mr. Okeover to sell Lands for Payment of his Debts, were this Day twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

Dover Pier.

Amendments, sent from the Lords, to the Bill for Repair of Dover Harbour, were this Day twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

London, &c. Streets.

The ingrossed Bill for repairing and maintaining the Streets and Highways, in London and Westminster, and Parts adjacent, was this Day read the Third time.

The Question being put, That the Clause in the Bill touching the Surplus of the Revenue of Hackney Coaches, after our Lady-day 1663, should stand in the Bill;

The House was divided:

The Yeas went out.

And so it passed in the Negative.

A Proviso was brought in to be added to the Bill, as to the enlarging the Streets in and near London and Westminster.

Resolved, That the said Proviso be committed to Sir John Denham, Serjeant Charlton, Sir John Brampston, Sir Rich. Ford, Sir Lanc. Lake, Sir John Duncombe, Sir Rich. Onslow, Mr. Fane, Sir Robert Howard, Mr. Pryn, Mr. Jones, Sir Tho. Allen, Sir Wm. Thompson, Mr. Smith, Mr. Jolly, Sir Tho. Meres, and all the Members of this House that serve for, or dwell within, the Cities of London and Westminster, or County of Middlesex: And they are to prepare a Clause to be added to the Bill for ascertaining the Places to be comprised in the Bill; and also to provide how the Surplus of the Revenue of Hackney Coaches shall be employed for repairing the Highways, of enlarging the Streets; and also to ascertain, in the Proviso, what Places or Streets shall be enlarged: And, for that Purpose, they are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to make Report thereof on Monday next.
