Pinckney's Petition.

ORDERED, That the Petition of Elizabeth Pinckney Widow, be recommended to the Consideration of the Committee of Grievances.

Old Sarum Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue a Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, for the making out a Writ, for a new Election of a Citizen for the City of Old Sarum, instead of Mr. Swanton deceased.

Importing Madder.

A Bill for importing of Madder, pure and unmixed, was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the said Bill be committed to Mr. Comptroller, Mr. Prinn, Mr. Francis Finch, Mr. Knight, Sir Solomon Swale, Mr. Collins, Mr. Wm. Sandys, Mr. Rigby, Sir Tho. Bloodworth, Sir Tho. Leigh, Sir Lanc. Lake, Mr. Spry, Sir Wm. Doyley, Colonel Kyrkby, Lord Richardson, Mr. Moore, Sir Richard Everard, Mr. Robinson, Mr. Fane, Sir George Reeve, Sir Tho. Meres, Sir Anthony Irby, Sir Henry Wood, Mr. Long, Mr. John Ashburnham, Sir Nich. Crisp. Disbanding Army.

Ordered, That a Message be sent to the Lords, to desire their Concurrence with this House, to petition his Majesty to issue a Proclamation for disarming the disbanded and cashiered Officers and Soldiers; and to command them to depart from, and not to approach within Twenty Miles of, this City, for such time as his Majesty shall think fit.

And Mr. Secretary Maurice is to carry up this Message to the Lords.

His Majesty's gracious Speech was this Day read in the House by Mr. Speaker.

Lurgessall Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue a Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ, for the Election of a Burgess for Lurgessall in the County of Wilts, in the Place of Mr. Jeffery Palmer, deceased.

King to appoint time of Attendance.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Nathaniell Hobart and Sir Wm. Glascock;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords do concur with the House of Commons in the last Message; and have appointed Six of their Members to attend the King, to know when his Majesty will be waited upon.

Ordered, That Mr. Secretary Maurice, Mr. Comptroller, Sir Henry Wood, Mr. William Sandys, Sir Solomon Swale, Sir George Carterett, Sir Robert Howard, Sir Baynham Throgmorton, Lord Mandevile, Mr. John Ashburnham, Sir Phillip Warwick, and Sir Humfry Winch, do also attend his Majesty from this House.

Supply.

Resolved, upon the Question, Nemine contradicente, That the Sum of Twelve hundred thousand Pounds shall be speedily raised for Supply of the King's Majesty's present Occasions: And that the House do resolve into a Grand Committee To-morrow Morning, to consider of the manner of raising it.
