Prayers.

Members pleading at Lords.

ORDERED, That such Members of this House, as are of the Long Robe, shall not be of Counsel on either Side, in any Bill depending in the Lords House, before such Bill shall come down from the Lords House to this House.

Committees added.

Ordered, That Sir Thomas Meeres, Mr. Sandys, be added to the Committee of Elections.

Members sworn.

The Commission, granted by his Majesty for tendering and administering the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, being read;

Mr. Speaker, and the other Members of the House commissionated by his Majesty, who were present, having taken the said Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, divers of them did attend at and near the Table: And the House being called, the said Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy were administered to, and taken by, the several Members present, in Order, as their Names were called over by the Book, wherein they are recorded.

And divers Members making Default in Attendance; and Notice being taken, and their Names marked;

Ordered, That a List be made out of such Members as made Default in Attendance this Day: And that their Names be called over on this Day Sevennight: And that the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy be then tendered and administered to such of them as shall be then present, and have not, before that Time, since the Granting of the new Commission, have taken the same: And that such as shall then fail to be present, without such good Excuse as the House shall allow, be, for their Neglect, sent for in the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms; and that such Members as shall, during the Sessions of Parliament desert the Service of the House, and depart into the Country, without Licence obtained from the House, be also, for their Default herein, sent for in the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees which were to sit this Afternoon, be adjourned; and do sit on Thursday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Places appointed.

And then the House adjourned till Thursday Morning, Eight of the Clock.
