Prayers.

CATHARINE Woodfine did, this Day, take the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, before Mr. Speaker, at the Clerk's Table, in order to her Naturalization.

Bodvile's Estate.

A Bill for settling the Estate of John Bodvile Esquire, deceased, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time on Thursday next.

Pride's Estate.

A Bill to make void a Lease made by Thomas Pride, deceased, and for settling his Estate, was read the First time.

Ordered, That this Bill be read the Second time Thisday-sevennight.

Supply.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed on the Consideration of his Majesty's Supply.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Millward took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Millward reports, That the Committee had made some further Progress in the Business of the King's Supply; and desired the House would impower the Committee to appoint a Sub Committee, to consider of the Heads of the Imposition on sealed Paper, proposed to be Part of the Compensation, in lieu of Chimney Money; and to prepare and facilitate the Matter for their better Proceeding therein.

Resolved, &c. That the Committee of the whole House be impowered to appoint a Sub Committee, to consider of the Heads of the Imposition on sealed Paper, proposed to be Part of the Compensation, in lieu of Chimney Money; and to prepare and facilitate the Matter for their better Proceeding therein.

Hemp and Flax.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Wm. Child and Sir Nathaniell Hobert;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have sent you down a Bill, intituled, An Act for the Encouragement of Sowing and Planting of Hemp and Flax: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Kendall's Estate.

Ordered, That the Bill to enable Mr. Kendall to sell Lands, be read the First Bill To-morrow Morning.

Replevins.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Bill touching Avowries and Replevins was committed, be revived, and do sit this Afternoon: And that Sir Francis Goodrick and Mr. Rigby be added to the Committee.

The Plague.

Ordered, That the Bill for Provisions for such as shall be infected with the Plague, be brought in and read Tomorrow Morning.

A Person discharged.

Ordered, That Edward Roberts be discharged of his Commitment to the Serjeant at Arms, paying his Fees.

Supply.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Millward took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Millward reports, That the Committee had, according to the Power given them, appointed a Sub Committee, for the Purposes directed.

Coinage.

Sir George Downing reports from the Committee to which the Bill for Increase of the Stock of Coin was committed, several Amendments to be made, and some Clauses to be inserted, in the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Which being twice read, were, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

Ordered, That these Words, "which said Duty they are hereby enjoined to receive and pay, according to the several Directions of this Act, without any Salary or Fee," be added to the Bill.

A Proviso for coining Single Money was twice read.

And some Amendments agreed, upon the Question; and made thereto at the Table.

Resolved, &c. That the Proviso, so amended, be agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments and Provisoes agreed to, be ingrossed.

Committee of Privileges.

Ordered, That Sir Richard Everard, Mr. Ford, and Mr. Henley, be added to the Committee of Elections.
