Prayers.

Bedford Election.

UPON Information, That the Case between Sir John Napper and Sir Henry Chester being appointed to be heard To-morrow before the Committee of Elections: but Sir John Napper could not have his Witnesses up to Town till Thursday;

Ordered, That the Cause between Sir John Napper and Sir Henry Chester, touching the Election of a Knight of the Shire for the County of Bedford, be put off from being heard To-morrow; and be heard before the Committee of Elections, on Thursday next in the Afternoon.

Beresford's Estate.

Sir Thomas Meeres reports from the Committee to which the Bill to enable Trustees to sell Lands, for the Payment of the Debts of Mr. Beresford, was committed, several Amendments, agreed to be made Part of the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in the Bill; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the Amendments were twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

Resolved, That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Navigable Rivers.

A Bill, sent from the Lords, for making navigable several Rivers, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time To-morrow Morning.

Medway Navigation.

Another ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, for making navigable the River of Medway, in the Counties of Kent and Sussex, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time To-morrow Morning.

Lord Loughbourough's Navigation.

Another ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, to enable Henry Lord Loughbourough to make the River navigable from or near Bristow Causey, in the County of Surrey, into the River of Thame, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time To-morrow Morning.

Bristoll Rivers.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Bill for making Rivers navigable between Bristoll and London was committed, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon at Two of the Clock, in the Place formerly appointed.

Felo de se.

Ordered, That the Bill concerning Felo de se be read To-morrow Morning.

Yarmouth Towns.

Ordered, That the ingrossed Bill, for settling the Differences between the Two Towns of Great and Little Yarmouth, concerning the Lading and Unlading of Herrings, and other Commodities, be read on Thursday Morning at Ten of the Clock.

Juckes' Estate.

Mr. Jones reports from the Committee to which the ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, for the Enabling of Thomas Juckes, of Trelidan in the County of Montgomery, Esquire, to sell Lands, for the Payment of his Debts, and raising Portions for younger Children, was committed, That the Committee had met; and heard the Parties concerned; and carefully perused the Bill; and found no Cause to make any Alteration or Addition thereto: And delivered in the Bill at the Clerk's Table.

Ordered, That the ingrossed Bill, concerning Mr. Juckes, be read the Third time To-morrow Morning.

Sutton Marsh.

Ordered, That the Bill concerning Sutton Marsh be read To-morrow Morning.

Comes' &c. Nat.

Ordered, That the ingrossed Bill for Naturalization of Dederic alias Richard Comes, and others; the Bill to prevent Delays in Executions; and the Bill for Continuance of an Act for repairing the Highways within the County of Hertford; be read To-morrow Morning.

Salt Marshes.

Mr. Ratcliffe reports from the Committee to which the Bill for settling salt Marshes was committed, That the Committee had agreed several Amendments to be made, and Six Provisoes to be added to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the Amendments were twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

The First Proviso being twice read;

Ordered, That these Words, "or be reputed to belong," be inserted in the Proviso, after the Word "do." Which was done.

Ordered, That these Words, "and not severed from the same," be struck out of the Proviso.

Which was done; and the Proviso, with the Amendments, upon the Question, agreed.

The Second, Third, and Fourth Provisoes were twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

The Fifth Proviso being twice read;

Ordered, That the Word, "near" be left out of the Proviso;

Which being done;

Resolved, That the Proviso, so amended, be agreed to.

The Sixth Proviso, being twice read;

And the Question being put, That the Proviso be agreed to;

It passed in the Negative.

A Proviso, on the Behalf of the Dean and Chapter of Canterbury, was tendered; and twice read.

Resolved, &c. That the said Proviso be agreed to; and made Part of the Bill.

Resolved, &c. That these Words, "or any Your Majesty's Patentees or Assignees," be inserted in the Bill, after the Word "or," in the Twentieth Line of the Second Folio.

Which was done accordingly.

Ordered, That these Words, "whereof they were in Possession the Twenty-fourth of November 1664," be inserted in the Bill, after the Word "Charges," in the Twentieth Line, Second Folio.

Which was done accordingly.

The Question being put, That the Bill, with the Amendments and Provisoes agreed to, be ingrossed;

The House was divided.

The Yeas went out.

And so it was resolved in the Affirmative, That the said Bill be ingrossed.
