Corporations.

ORDERED, That all the Members of this House that serve for the several Counties of Devon, Cornwall, Yorke, and Lincolne, be added to the Committee appointed to inspect the Act for regulating Corporations: And all the Members of this House, that shall come, are to have Voices.

Wool Combers.

A Petition of the Wool Combers and Yarn Makers, in the County of Suffolke, was read.

Resolved, &c. That the said Petition be referred to a Committee; to take the same into Consideration; as also, the Act for regulating the Making of Stuffs, within the Counties of Norfolke, and City of Norwich; and to examine the Matter of Fact; and report their Opinions therein to the House; viz. Sir Hen. North, Sir Edm. Pooley, Mr. Clifford, Colonel Robinson, Sir Tho. Tompkins, Sir John Hotham, Mr. Cory, Colonel Birch, Sir Sol. Swale, Sir Hum. Winch, Sir John Frederick, Lord Bruce, Mr. John Vaughan, Mr. Gaudy, Mr. Yorke, Sir Tho. Allen, Sir Geo. Ryve, Sir John Duncombe, Sir Wm. Thompson, Sir Cliff. Clifton, Sir John Rouse, and all the Members of this House that serve for the Counties of Norfolke and Suffolke: And they are to meet To-morrow at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber; and to cause a Copy of the Petition to be sent to the City of Norwich; and to hear the Parties concerned: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Petition from Hanslop.

A Petition of the Parishioners of Hanslop in the County of Bucks, was read.

Ordered, That, when the House doth next resolve into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed on the Bill for increase of the Maintenance of Ministers in Corporations, they will then take the Matter of this Petition into Consideration.

Bedford Level.

Ordered, That the Debate of the Matter, upon the Vote of the House, touching the Great Level of the Fens, called Bedford Level, be adjourned till the Second Day of the Meeting of the House, after Whitsuntide.

Sectaries, &c.

Mr. Heath, Attorney of the Duchy, reports from the Committee to which the Bill for preventing and suppressing the Meetings of Sectaries, Nonconformists, and Dissenters from the Church, was committed, several Amendments to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the Amendments were once read.

And the several Amendments precedent to the Amendments to the Second Line of the Tenth Folio, were read the Second time; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

The Amendment to the Second Line of the Tenth Folio was read the Second time; and, on the Question, postponed.

The Amendment following, to the Ninth Line of the Tenth Folio, was read the Second time; and, on the Question, agreed to.

The Amendment to the Eleventh Line of the Third Folio was read the Second time; and postponed.

The following Amendments, precedent to the Amendment to the Thirteenth Line of the Twelfth Folio, were read the Second time; and, on the Question, agreed to.

That Amendment was read the Second time; and postponed.

The subsequent Amendments were read the Second time; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

The House taking into Debate the Matter of the Clauses touching the adjuring the Realm, and the Incapacity of Persons to execute Offices; upon the Amendments postponed;

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be re-committed to the former Committee, upon the Clause of abjuring the Realm, and making it Felony, in case of Refusal; to bring in a Clause for transporting, instead thereof; and also to consider of the Clause touching the Incapacity of Persons to execute Offices; and provide, that the Refusers of the Tests be not excused from such Offices and Employments as shall be of no Advantage to them, and may not hazard the publick Safety; and to set Penalties on the Refusers: And the Committee are revived; and to meet Tomorrow at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Place formerly appointed.

Royal Assent to Bills.

Mr. Speaker, I am commanded, by the House of Peers, to acquaint this House, That his Majesty hath appointed Commissioners to pass such Bills as are ready: And the House of Peers desire this House to be present at the Passing of them.
