ORDERED, That the Petitions of the several Inhabitants of the several Counties concerned in the making navigable of the River of Stower and Salwerpe, be referred to the Committee to whom the Bill for making that River navigable is committed: And that all the several Members of this House that serve for North Wales, be added to that Committee.

Ryvers' Estate.

A Bill to enable the Sale of the Lands and Tenements late of Edward Ryvers Esquire, to pay his Debts, was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, That the same be committed to Sir Edmond Peirse, Mr. Whorwood, Lord Richardson, Sir Edward Massey, Mr. Chetwind, Sir Rich. Breham, Sir Henry Newton, Mr. Heath, Serjeant Littleton, Mr. Gawdy, Mr. Puckering, alias Newton, Mr. Westphalin, Sir John Duncombe, Sir Solomon Swale, Sir Edward Moseley, Dr. Burwell, Mr. Rigby, Sir Thomas Meres, Dr. Birkenhead, Sir George Reeve, Sir Herbert Price, Lord Angier, Sir Rich. Onslow, Mr. Crouch, Mr. Price, Sir William Doyley, Sir Tho. Leigh, Mr. Lowther, Sir Roger Bradshaigh, Mr. Clerke; and all the Knights, Citizens, and Burgesses, that serve for the Counties of Kent and Sussex: And they are to meet in the Speaker's Chamber on Monday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Dallison's Estate.

A Bill for enabling Sir Robert Dallison to sell Lands to pay his Debts, and to provide for his younger Children; was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, upon the Question, That this Bill be committed to the same Committee to whom the Bill for Lindsey Levell was committed: And they are to meet in the Exchequer Chamber on Monday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Hitcham's Charities.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill for settling and confirming of the Manors of Framlingham and Saxtead in the County of Suffolke, and the Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments thereunto belonging, devised by Sir Robert Hitcham Knight, and late Serjeant at Law, to certain charitable Uses, was committed, be revived; and do meet, in the Speaker's Chamber, on Monday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

Plextoll Parish.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill for making the Parish of Plextoll a distinct Parish from Wrotham, is committed, be revived; and do meet in the Place formerly appointed, on Monday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

Norfolke Dukedom.

An ingrossed Bill for confirming an Act for Restitution of Thomas Earl of Arundell, Surrey, and Norfolke, to the Dignity and Title of Duke of Norfolke, was this Day read the Third time.

The Question being put, That the original Bill for restoring the said Earl of Arundell to the said Dukedom of Norfolke, be read, before the Bill for confirming the same do pass;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

And the Bill was read accordingly.

A Proviso was brought in, to be added to the said Bill.

The Question being put, Whether the Question for reading the said Proviso shall be now put;

It passed in the Negative.

The Question being put, That the said Bill do pass;

It was resolved in the Affirmative, That the said Bill do pass.

Resolved, That the Title shall be, An Act for confirming an Act for Restitution of Thomas Earl of Arundell, Surrey, and Norfolke, to the Dignity and Title of Duke of Norfolke.

Supply Bill.

Ordered, That the Debate of the Bill for levying of the Eighteen Months Assessment, be proceeded in on Monday next, at Ten of the Clock: To which End the House is then to resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House.

Confirming Ministers.

Resolved, That the further Debate of the Amendments to the Bill for Confirming of Ministers be proceeded in on Tuesday next, at Ten of the Clock.

Great Level of Fens.

Resolved, That the Debate of the Matter concerning Bedford Levell be adjourned from Monday next till Thursday following: Whereof all Parties concerned are to take notice; and to attend accordingly.

Conference; Swearing Witnesses.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Thomas Bennett and Sir Toby Woolrich, Two of the Masters in Chancery;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords desire a present Conference with this House in the Painted Chamber, upon the Message from this House, for the swearing Witnesses at the Bar of their House, to be examined in this House.

After which the Messengers withdrawing, were called in: And Mr. Speaker acquainted them, That this House had considered of their Message; and did agree to a present Conference with the Lords in the Painted Chamber, as was desired.

And the House appointed Mr. Vaughan, Sir Anthony Irby, Mr. Thurland, Mr. Solicitor General, Serjeant Charleton, and Mr. Waller, to manage the Conference.

Mr. Solicitor reports from the Conference with the Lords, That they had appointed a Committee to search, whether there were any Precedents for the Swearing of Witnesses at the Lords Bar to be examined in this House: And could not find any.

And then this House adjourned till Monday Morning next, at Eight of the Clock.
