THE humble Petition of Charles Earl of Derby was this Day read.

Ordered, That this Petition be committed; and, if the Committee find the Matter of Fact to be as is alleged, that then they bring in a Bill, as is desired: Viz. to Mr. Bond, Mr. Berkley, Lord Chief-Justice Glyn, Lord Broghill, Sir Thomas Honywood, Colonel Rous, Sir Thomas Wroth, Colonel Mathews, Colonel Markham, Sir Rich. The humble Petition of divers of the Tenants of the Manor of Hanslop, in the County of Buck', late Parcel of the Honour of Grafton in the County of Northampton, was this Day read: And, upon the Question, laid aside.

Isle of Axholme.

The humble Petition of the Inhabitants of Haxen and Owston, within the Manor of Epworth, in the Isle of Axholme, in the County of Lincoln, was this Day read.

The humble Petition of the Inhabitants of the Towns of Epworth, Belton, and Butterwick, with divers others; being the major Part of the Freeholders and Commoners within the Manor of Epworth, in the Isle of Axolme, and in the County of Lincoln; was this Day read.

The humble Petition of above Sixty Gentlemen, Purchasers, for valuable Consideration, of Lands in the Level of Hatfeild Chace, in the Counties of York, Lincoln, and Nottingham; and above Two hundred of their Tenants, who have been despoiled of their Estates by the barbarous and inhuman Riots of the Inhabitants of the Manor of Epworth and Misterton; was this Day read.

Cheshire Brigade.

A Letter from his Highness the Lord Protector, directed thus: "To our Right Trusty, and Right Wellbeloved, Sir Thomas Widdrington Knight, Speaker of the Parliament: To be communicated to the Parliament, on the Behalf of the Cheshire Brigade." And the humble Petition of the Officers of the Cheshire Brigade at Worcester, inclosed in His Highness' Letter; were all this Day read.

Ordered, That this Petition, with the Papers annexed, be referred to the Committee, to whom the Earl of Derbie's Petition is referred: And that Major General Bridg, Major Porter, Major Brooks, Mr. Marbury, Master of the Rolls, and Colonel Ireland, be added to that Committee.

Hervey's Petition.

The humble Petition of John Hervey was this Day read.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to the Committee, to whom the Earl of Derbie's Petition was referred: With Power to send for Papers, Witnesses, and Records: And to consider, how the Petitioner may be relieved, if there be Cause; and present the same, with their Opinion, to the House; and that Sir Gilbert Pickering, Mr. Bampfeild, Lord Strickland, Mr. Godfrey, Mr. Aston, Mr. Jenkenson, be added to that Committee.

Vassall's Petition.

Ordered, That the Petition of Samuell Vassall Esquire be read on Monday Morning next, the first Business.

The humble Petition of Edward Dendy was this Day read.

Ordered, That this Petition, and the Petition of Sir Hardres Waller, be referred to a Committee, to hear the Parties; and examine the Business; state Matter of Fact; and report it to the House, together with their Opinion therein.

Ordered, That the said Petitions be referred to the Committee for Irish Affairs; and that Mr. Barrington, Colonel Mathews, Mr. Whiteway, Mr. Bodurda, Mr. Wm. Lister, Major-General Bridg, Mr. Bampfeild, Major General Kelsey, Colonel Carter, Colonel Twisleton, Mr. Disbrow, Mr. Moody, be added to this Committee for this Purpose.

Ordered, That it be referred to the same Committee, to consider of the Obstructions to the Planting of Ireland; and propose to the House some Expedients, how the same may be removed.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee, to whom the Petition of Edward Dendy was referred, to consider of the Explanation of the Clause in the former Act, that relates to Gloucester; to make the same effectual; and to report to the House, what they shall think fit to be done for that Purpose: And Mr. Throckmorton, Doctor Clerges, General Disbrow, Mr. Crofts, are added to that Committee for this Purpose.

Arthur's Petition.

The humble Petition of John Arthur, Merchant, was this Day read.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to the Committee, to whom the Petition of the Earl of Salisbury is referred.
