Tuesday, the 25th of November, 1656.

Privilege.

THE House being informed, that Colonel Wilton, a Member of this House, was, the last Night, served with a Subpæna, at the Suit of one Drugo Wright;

Resolved, That Drugo Wright be sent for, as a Delinquent, by the Serjeant at Arms, for causing the said Colonel Wilton to be served with a Subpæna.

Dean's, &c. Nat.

A Bill for Naturalizing of Martha Dem, Peter Richier, David Griell, James De la Port, Salomon Le Marhand, Frederick Howpert, Daniell Tripier, was this Day read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to the former Committee for the Bills for Naturalization.

Ordered, That Cornelius Vambomell, of London, be referred to this Committee, to be inserted into this Bill, if they think fit.

Ordered, That the Children of Wm. Johnson, of Newcastle, be referred to the same Committee, to insert their Names into this Bill, if they see Cause.

Exports.

The House, according to former Order, proceeded with the Debate upon the Bill for Transportation of several Commodities, of the Breed, Growth, and Manufacture of this Commonwealth.

The Question being put, That the Clause in the Bill for the Transportation of Arms, Ammunition, Powder, &c. do stand in the Bill.

It passed in the Affirmative.

And the Bill, being put to the Question, was, upon the Question, passed, Nemine contradicente.

Resolved, That his Highness' Consent be desired to this Bill.

Perpetuanas, &c.

Ordered, That the Bill for regulating Perpetuanas, be read the First time To-morrow Morning.

Union with Ireland.

Resolved, That the House be resolved into a Grand Committee, upon the Bill for uniting Ireland into one Commonwealth with England, To-morrow Morning.

Recusants.

Ordered, That the Bill touching Recusants be read the First time on Thursday Morning next.

Passing Bills.

Resolved, That a Committee be appointed to attend his Highness the Lord Protector, to desire his Highness to appoint a Time when this House may present unto his Highness some Bills which have been passed by this House.

Resolved, That the Committee formerly appointed to attend his Highness, touching the Manner of Addresses to his Highness, shall be the Committee to attend his Highness upon the former Vote; and that Mr. Barkley, Mr. Roll, Mr. Cole, Sir Sam Sleigh, Major General Skippon, Sir John Copleston, Colonel Purefcy, Mr. Noell, Lord Deputy, Lord Cockram, Mr. Throckmorton, Mr. Robinson, Captain Baines, Sir John Hobart, Mr. Disbrow, Mr. Downing, Mr. Drake, Lord Rich. Cromwell, be added to this Committee: And they are to meet Tomorrow in the Afternoon, at Three of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Norwich Stuffs.

A Bill for regulating the Making of Stuffs in Norfolk, and Norwich, was this Day read the Second Time; and, upon the Question, committed to Colonel Wilton, Sir John Hobart, Mr. Robinson, Major-General Kelsey, Mr. Ash, Mr. Church, Colonel Wood, Mr. Fothringill, Major-General Haines, Mr. Stanley, Mr. Moody, Mr. Sheild, Sir Christofer Pack; all that serve for Norfolk, and Suffolk, and Essex; Mr. Downing, Mr. Bond, Colonel Fitch, Lord Richard Cromwell, Mr. Beamont, Mr. Noell, Mr. Wall, Mr. Bodurda, Mr. Highland, Major-General Skippon, Mr. Quarles: To meet To-morrow, in the Duchy-Court, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

The humble Petition of the poor Worsted-Weavers within the City of Norwich and County of Norfolk was this Day read.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to the Committee to whom the Bill for regulating the Making of Stuffs in Norwich and Norfolk is committed, to take it into Consideration, upon the Debate in the Amendments of that Bill.

Ordered, That Mr. Fenwick, Mr. Butler, be added to the Committee for Norwich Stuffs.

Northern Borders.

Ordered, That the Bill against Thefts in Northumberland be read on Friday Morning, the First time.

Hospitals.

Ordered, That the Bill for Hospitals be read the Second time on Friday next.
