Monday, the 25th of July, 1653.

Judges of Admiralty.

THE Question being propounded, That Mr. Richard Wollaston be the Third Judge of the Admiralty;

And the Question being put, That this Question be now put;

It passed in the Affirmative.

And the main Question being put; it was

Resolved, by the Parliament, That Mr. Richard Wollaston be the Third Judge of the Admiralty.

Ordered, That a Bill be brought in to constitute the Three Judges of the Admiralty: And Mr. Taylor, Mr. Wingfield, and Mr. Broughton, do prepare a Bill for that Purpose; and report it to the House.

Ordered, That it be referred to Major-General Desborough, and Mr. Moyer, to consider of a fit Person to be Solicitor for the Commonwealth in the Business of the Admiralty: And that any Members of the House do offer unto them the Names of fit Persons for that Service: And that they do report to the House thereupon such Person as they shall think fittest.

Dick's Claims.

Mr. Moyer reports from the Council of State, the Petition of Sir Wm. Dick, and the State of the Case concerning him, as it was reported to the Council from the Commissioners for Haberdashers-Hall: Which was this Day read.

Ordered, That this Business be referred, upon the present Debate, to the Committee for Debts, to examine the same; and, in case they find it just, that the Monies therein mentioned should be paid, that they report the State of it to the House, with their Opinion how the same may be satisfied.

Army Committee, &c.

Colonel Clerk reports from the Committee of the Army, A Bill appointing a Committee of the Army, and Treasurers at War: Which was this Day read the First and Second time.

Resolved, That the Number of Treasurers for the Army shall be Two.

Ordered, That the Committee of the Army do bring in, To-morrow Morning, a List of the Officers employed under the Treasurers of the Army, and their Salaries, and Allowances, together with such incident Charges as is paid by them in respect of that Employment.
