Prayers.

Salwey's Debts.

THE humble Petition of Humfrey Salwey Esquire, a Member of this Parliament, was this Day read.

Ordered, by the Parliament, That Two hundred Pounds per Annum be paid unto the Executors, Administrators, or Assigns, of Humfrey Salwey Esquire, out of the yearly Profits of the Office of Remembrancer in the Publick Exchequer, for the Term of Seven Years next after the Death of the said Humfrey Salwey, toward the Payment and Satisfaction of the Debts of the said Humfrey Salwey.

Ordered, by the Parliament, That Ellis Yonge Gentleman, one of the Attornies of the Court of Exchequer, be authorized to execute the Office of Remembrancer in the Publick Exchequer, after the Death of Humfrey Salwey Esquire, the present Remembrancer, during the Pleasure of the Parliament; and to receive the Profits thereof; and, out of the same Profits, yearly to pay unto the Executors, Administrators, or Assigns of the said Humfrey Salwey, for and during the Term of Seven Years after the Death of the said Humfrey Salwey, the Sum of Two hundred Pounds towards the Payment and Satisfaction of the Debts of the said Humfrey Salwey, and to be accountable yearly unto the State for the Residue of the said yearly Profits, during such Time as he shall execute the said Place.

Love respited.

Resolved, That the Petitions of Christofer Love, and Mary his Wife, be now read.

The said Petitions were accordingly read.

The House being informed, that there are some Petitioners at the Door;

Resolved, That the Petitioners be called in.

The Petitioners being come to the Bar, Mr. Sedgwick, after a brief Preamble, did present the Petition.

Which, after the Petitioners were withdrawn,

Mr. Speaker informed the House of a Mistake in the Style of the Petition.

Which being withdrawn by the Petitioners;

And the House being informed, that the Petitioners were again at the Door;

They were called in: And Mr. Sedgwick did make an humble Excuse for the former Mistake: And they did declare, That the Petitioners had amended the same; and that they did unanimously agree in the Amendment: And so presented the Petition again, so amended.

Which (after the Petitioners were withdrawn) was read; and was intituled, "The Petition of divers Ministers in and about the City of London."

The Question being put, That the Execution of Mr. Christofer Love be respited for a Month;

The House was divided.

So it was Resolved, by the Parliament, That the Execution of Mr. Christofer Love be respited for a Month.

Resolved, That, instead of these Words, "for a Month," in the former Vote, these Words be inserted, "until the Fifteenth Day of August next."

Resolved, by the Parliament, That the Execution of Mr. Christofer Love be respited until the Fifteenth Day of August next."

Resolved, That Mr. Speaker do issue a Warrant, under his Hand, to the Sheriffs of London and Middlesex, requiring them to respite the Execution of Mr. Christofer Love until the Fifteenth Day of August next.

Cooke's Examinations.

Ordered, That Mr. Attorney General have Liberty, out of the Examinations of Mr. Thomas Cooke, and such other Papers as were therewith reported to the House, to take from the Clerk of the Parliament such Papers as he shall think necessary to be made use of at the Tryal of the Persons at the High Court of Justice; giving unto the Clerk of the Parliament a Note of the particular Papers so by him to be taken out: And, after such Use made of them, That he return them again to the Clerk of the Parliament, according to such Note.

Delinquents Estates.

The House resumed the Debate upon the Bill for Sale of the Estates of several Delinquents.

The Question being put, That the Rate of Interest, to be inserted in this Bill, be Eight Pounds per Centum for a Year;

It passed with the Negative.

Resolved, That the Rate of Interest to be inserted in this Bill, be Six Pounds per Centum for a Year.

Resolved, That James late Earl of Cambridg, commonly called Duke Hamilton, be inserted into this Bill, for his Land to be sold.

The Question being put, That Sir Philip Constable do stand in this Bill;

It passed with the Negative.

Resolved, That Christofer Lewkener, late of the Middle Temple, London, Esquire, be put into this Bill, for his Estate to be sold.

Ingrossed Bills.

Ordered, That the Ingrossed Bills be read on Thursday Morning next.

Invalid Soldiers.

Ordered, That the maimed Soldiers be taken into Consideration on Thursday Morning next.

Irish Qualifications.

Ordered, That the Qualifications for Ireland be taken into Consideration on Friday Morning.
