Commissioner of Assessment.
ORDERED, That Richard Forebench be, and is hereby, discharged from being a Commissioner for the Assessment of One hundred and Twenty thousand Pounds per mensem for the County of Surrey.
Earl of Downe's Fine.
Resolved, That the Treasurers of Goldsmiths Hall be, and are hereby, authorized to receive from the Earl of Downe, the Remainder of his Fine; so as the same be paid in within Two Days now next coming: And, in case the same be paid within that time, the Commissioners for Compounding are to admit and accept the same, and proceed thereupon, as if it had been paid in by the Time limited by the former Order.
Impresting Soldiers.
Mr. Dormer reports from the Committee named for that Purpose; viz.
An Act for the Impresting of Soldiers, for the Service of the Commonwealth in Ireland: . . . was this Day read the First time.
And the Question being put, That the said Act be now read the Second time;
It was resolved in the Affirmative.
And the said Act was now read the Second time accordingly.
Resolved, That the Number of Soldiers to be imprested in this Bill shall not exceed Ten thousand.
Resolved, That they be imprested generally throughout all England and Wales.
Resolved, That this Bill be committed unto Sir James Harrington, Mr. Whittacres, Sir John Danvers, Mr. Robinson, Sir John Hippesley, Alderman Pennington, Mr. Lentall, Sir Richard Lucy, Mr. * Darley, Lord Grey, Mr. * Challoner, Mr. Trenchard, Sir Thomas Wroth, Colonel Fielder, Colonel Ingoldsby, Mr. West, Mr. Holland, Mr. Oldesworth, Mr. Moyle, Mr. Smyth, Mr. Dormer, Mr. Nevill, Mr. James Challoner, Mr. Hill, Mr. Edwards, Mr. Leman, Colonel Lister; or any Five of them: And all that come to have Voices: And are to meet in Mr. Speaker's Chamber this Afternoon at Two of the Clock; and so de die in diem: And the more particular Care hereof is referred to Mr. Richard Darley, and Mr. West: And that it be reported with all convenient Speed.

Resolved, That the additional Act for Sale of the late King's Goods, and the List of the late King's Servants, be reported To-morrow Morning, the first Business.
Ordered, That Colonel Gill's Business be reported To-morrow Morning.
