Prayers.

Probates of Wills, &c.

AN Act for settling Courts for the Administration of Justice to the People, in Cases of Wills, Administrations, Legacies, Marriages, and Divorces, was this Day read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to the former Committee: And all that come to have Voices: And the said Committee are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Exchequer Chamber; and so de die in diem; and forthwith to report it to the House.

Publick Registers.

Ordered, That Mr. Hill do bring in the Bill touching registring Conveyances and Incumbrances This-day-sevennight.

Writs of Error.

Ordered, That Sir Arthur Hesilrig do bring in the Bill touching Errors on This-day-sevennight.

Delinquents Estates.

The House this Day resumed the Debate upon the Bill for regulating the Sequestrations of Papists and Delinquents Estates.

The Question being propounded, That the Clause for the double Penalty in the said Bill, for not paying in the Monies, do stand;

The House was divided.

The Yeas went forth.

Sir Wm. Armyn, Tellers for the Noes: 40.

So the Question passed with the Negative.

Resolved, That, in that Clause, after the Words "so "much more," these Words, "as the said Commissioners for compounding shall think sit, not exceeding the Moiety of such Monies," be inserted.

Resolved, That the Word "Lands" be inserted into that Clause of the Bill.

The House, according to former Order, adjourned itself till Tuesday Morning next, Eight of Clock.
