PRAYERS.

Declaration of Parliament.

THE House this Day proceeded in reading the Declaration for Vindication of the Proceedings of the Parliament, by Parts: And every Clause, being read, and put to the Question, was assented unto.

And the said Declaration, being put to the Question, was passed; and ordered to be forthwith printed and published.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State, to consider of such Persons now in Prison, or under Restraint, as are fit to receive Favour in pursuance of this Declaration; and to give Order for their Discharge, they submitting to the Government now established, and giving Security not to endanger or disturb the Peace of the Commonwealth.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State, to consider in what manner this Declaration may be sent down, and dispersed into the several Counties; and to give Order for the Doing thereof accordingly.

Grant to Marten.

Mr. Garland reports an Act for settling the Manors of Hartington and Lempster upon Henry Marten Esquire, and his Heirs.

Which was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, passed.

Hippesly's Lease.

Resolved, &c. That Sir John Hippesly Knight, upon the Surrender of his Estate, in a Messuage, situate in the Muse, new built by the said Sir John Hippesly, together with the Rooms and Stable with the said Messuage used and enjoyed, and now in the Possession of the said Sir John Hippesly, have a Lease granted unto him of the said Messuage and Premises, for One-and-twenty Years, from the Nine-and-twentieth of September 1649; upon which is to be reserved an yearly Rent of Twenty Shillings to the Commonwealth: And Mr. Attorney General is authorized and required to prepare a Lease, to be passed under the Great Seal to that Purpose: Which the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal of England are hereby authorized and required to pass the same under the said Great Seal accordingly.

Army Committee, &c.

Ordered, That the Committee of the Army, and Treasurers at War, now in being, together with all the Powers formerly given unto them respectively, by any Act of Parliament, be continued for Three Months now next coming: And that the several Persons nominated to be of that Committee, and the Treasurers aforesaid, be enabled and authorized to act to all Intents and Purposes accordingly.

Crown Lands.

Ordered, That the Amendments to the Act for further Instructions to the Trustees for Sale of the Crown Lands be reported, the first Business, on Tuesday next; nothing to intervene.

Claims on Publick Faith.

Ordered, That the Report touching such as lent upon the Publick Faith; be made on Tuesday Morning next, after the Amendments to the Act for further Instructions to the Trustees for Sale of the Crown Lands.

Adjournment.

Ordered, That this House doth adjourn itself until Tuesday Morning next, at Eight of Clock.
