PRAYERS.

Grant to Ld. Fairefax.

MR. James Challenor reports Amendments to the Act for settling Manors, Lands, and Tenements, of the clear yearly Value of Four thousand Pounds, on Thomas Lord Fairefax, and his Heirs: Which were twice read: And, the said Amendments being severally put to the Question, and some Alterations made at the Table, the Amendments were assented unto.

Earl of Denbigh.

The humble Petition of Basil Earl of Denbigh, was this Day read.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee that brought in the Bill for the Lord Fairefax, to consider how the Earl of Denbigh may have an Accommodation by Darby House, or otherwise, in Satisfaction of his Right which he had in the Wardrobe; and report their Opinion to the House: And the Committee are to meet at Two of the Clock this Afternoon, in the same Place where they formerly met.

The said Act, so amended, being put to the Question, passed.

Adjournment.

Resolved, &c. That Mr. Speaker, at the Rising of the House, do adjourn till Tuesday Morning, Eight of the Clock.

General Lambert.

Ordered, That the Act for Major General Lambert be read on Tuesday next, the first Business.

Westminster School, &c.

Ordered, That the Bill for the School and Alms-houses of Westminster be read on Wednesday next, the first Business; nothing to intervene.

Captives.

Ordered, That the Act touching Captives be read on Tuesday next, the Second time.

Publick Accompts.

Colonel Fleetwood reports Amendments to an Act for taking the Accompts of the Commonwealth: Which were this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, agreed.

And the Bill, so amended, was ordered to be ingrossed, and brought in on Tuesday Morning: And that the Committee do then bring in the Names of Commissioners to be inserted into the Act.

Crown Lands.

Ordered, That the additional Act for Sale of the Lands of the late King, &c. be read on Tuesday next, the first Business.

Mr. Weston.

Ordered, That the Act for Mr. Weston be read on Wednesday Morning.

Militia.

Ordered, That the Act for the Militia be read on Tuesday next.

Monies in the Box.

Ordered, That the Serjeant at Arms attending the Parliament do dispose of the Monies now in the Box, among such poor Widows, and other necessitous Persons, as he shall think fit.

Lloyd's, &c. Petition.

The humble Petition of Anne Lloyd, Henry Proby, Robert Vilvaine, John Barry, Sir Thomas Stafford, William Colton, Thomas Gunter, Elizabeth Davy, and Francis Hutchinson, was this Day read.

The Question being propounded, That this Petition be referred to a Committee;

It passed with the Negative.

Ordered, That the House doth adjourn itself until Tuesday Morning, Eight a Clock.
