Prayers.

Delinquents.

ORDERED, &c. That the particular Reports of the Rates, whereupon the particular Fines are agreed, at Goldsmiths Hall, be sent to the Lords, together with the Ordinances for the said Delinquents.

Sir Anthony Irby is appointed to carry them to the Lords.

Meldrum's Claims,

The humble Petition of Robert Meldrum Esquire, Nephew and Executor of Sir John Meldrum Knight, deceased, was this Day read.

Resolved, &c. That the Sum of One thousand Pounds, formerly ordered to be paid to Sir John Meldrum, and yet unpaid to him, be now forthwith paid unto Robert Meldrum Esquire, his Nephew and Executor, out of the Fine and Composition of Mr. George Mynne, by the Committee at Haberdashers Hall: And that all former Orders, touching the Payment of the said Sum of One thousand Pounds, be revoked: And

It is further Ordered, That the Sum of One thousand Pounds more be forthwith paid to the said Robert Meldrum, out of the Fine and Composition of the said Mr. George Mynne, upon Account, in Part of Satisfaction of the Arrears of Pay due to Sir John Meldrum, deceased, for his Entertainment in the Service of the Parliament: And that the Acquittance of the said Robert Meldrum shall be a good Discharge to the Committee at Haberdashers Hall, and the Treasurers there, for the Payment of the said Sum of One thousand Pounds, and One thousand Pounds, respectively.

The Lords Concurrence to be desired therein.

It is further Ordered, That the Sum of One thousand Pounds more be added to the Two thousand Pounds, assigned by the former Order to be paid to Mr. Robert Meldrum, Nephew and Executor of Sir John Meldrum, which makes the whole Three thousand Pounds, out of Mr. George Mynne's Fine at Haberdashers Hall, in full Discharge of all Accompts, and in Recompence of the Service of Sir John Meldrum.

The Lords Concurrence to be desired herein.

Light Houses.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill concerning the Light Houses, erected at the North and South Forelands, in the County of Kent, be read the Second time on this Day Sevennight.

Oxford University.

Mr. Rouse carried to the Lords, for their Concurrence, the Ordinance for regulating the University of Oxon, according to the Order Yesterday made.

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to a Committee to consider of the whole Business concerning the Form of returning Prisoners that are committed by both of either House, or by Authority of Parliament; and likewise how to make such Prisoners liable to their just Debts; and yet that they may not thereby avoid their Imprisonment; but may remain still as Prisoners to the Parliament.

Mr. Selden, Mr. Grimston, Mr. Thorpe, Mr. Ellis, Mr. Lisle, Sir Thomas Widdrington, Mr. Gott, Mr. Samuell Browne, Mr. Prideaux, Mr. Lane, Mr. Maynard, Mr. Erle; and all the Lawyers of the House, are of this Committee: And they are to meet upon it this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in the Court of Wards: And the more particular Care of this Business is referred to Mr. Grimston, and Mr. Thorpe: And they are to report on Saturday come Sevennight. And the Cases concerning Sir Hugh Pollard; concerning the Collectors committed by the Committee of the Army; concerning such as are committed by the Committee of plundered Ministers; are referred to the Consideration of this Committee.

Conference with Lords.

The House, according to the Order Yesterday made, went to the Conference.

Mr. Swinsen, Sir Wm. Lewes, Sir Phil. Stapilton, are appointed Reporters of this Conference.

Staffordshire.

Ordered, &c. That Mr. Swinsen do report the Ordinance concerning Staffordshire, the first Business, on Tuesday Morning next.

Bishops Lands.

Ordered, &c. That the Ordinance concerning the Trustees for Bishops Lands be read on Tuesday Morning next, the second Business.

Mr. Bowyer.

Ordered, &c. That, on Tuesday Morning next, the Report be made from the Northern Committee, concerning one Mr. Bowyer.

Barton's Claims.

Whereas Colonel Wm. Barton was ordered to have the Sum of Four thousand Seventy-one Pounds Fifteen Shillings Ten-pence paid unto him out of the Fines of Mr. William Salisbury, Mr. William Price, Mr. John Bodevile, and other Delinquents of North Wales, nominated in the said Order; the Fines of which Delinquents aforesaid appears to be formerly assigned otherwise: It is therefore Ordered, That the foresaid Sum of Four Thousand Seventy-one Pounds Fifteen Shillings and Ten-pence be paid out of the Fines of those other Persons named in the said Order; or out of the Fines of such other Delinquents, of the Six Counties of North Wales, as the said Colonel Wm. Barton shall nominate to the Committee at Goldsmiths Hall.
