PRAYERS.

Inquiry into Information.

RESOLVED, &c. That it be referred to a Committee, to inquire after the Truth of this Information now given by Mr. Speaker; to send for Parties and Witnesses; and to secure such Persons as they shall find Cause; and to take care to double the Guards, if they shall find it necessary; viz. unto Sir Peter Wentworth, Mr. Scott, Mr. Whittacre, Sir Thomas Wroth, Mr. Stapilton, Colonel Ven, Mr. Rigby, Mr. Myles Corbett, Mr. Trenchard, Mr. Ashe, Mr. Humfrey Edwards, Major General Browne, Mr. Dove, Alderman Atkin, Sir John Danvers, Sir John Evelyn, Mr. Love, Major General Skippon, Mr. Gerard, or any Three of them: And the Care of this Business is more particularly referred to Mr. Scott: And they are to withdraw presently; and to meet when the where they please.

Prince Elector.

Ordered, That, the first Business after the Time limited for private Business shall be expired, the additional Ordinance for the Maintenance of the Prince Elector be read.

Sir F. Fortescue.

Ordered, That Colonel Mytton be required to secure Sir Faithfull Fortescue, until the House take further Order: And that it be, in the mean time, referred to the Committee for the Affairs of Ireland, at Derby House, to consider of the Articles made with the Lord Ormond, upon Rendition of Dublyn; and to state how far Sir Faithfull Fortescue is concerned in those Articles.

Leave of Absence from Service.

Ordered, That Colonel John Moore, a Member of this House, who is now employed upon Service in Ireland, shall have Liberty to return into this Kingdom, upon his own Occasions, for Three Months.

Presenting to Livings.

Ordered, That the Commissioners of the Great Seal do present unto such Livings as become void, that are under Value, and within the Gift of the Commissioners, such Ministers, in the first Place, that are resident and incumbent upon the said Livings by the Parliament, or Authority derived from the Parliament; such Ministers being able and deserving Men.

The Lords Concurrence to be desired herein.

Rights of Patrons to Livings.

Ordered, That the Committee formerly appointed to consider how to preserve the Rights of Patrons of Livings, be revived: And that Mr. Lane and Mr. Nathamell Bacon be added to this Committee: And that they do meet this Afternoon at Three of Clock, in the Exchequer Chamber; and so de die in diem, as they shall find Cause: And the Care of this Business is more particularly referred to Mr. Lane.

Proceedings against Sterling, &c.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee for the Affairs of Ireland, at Derby House, to send for Colonel Sterling and Lieutenant Colonel Marshall, sent for out of Ireland by Order of Parliament; and to examine them upon the Matters objected against them; and to report the State of their Examinations, and their Opinions thereupon, to the House.

Letter read.

A Letter from the Commissioners employed to the Army, from Windsore, of Two of Clock this present Monday Morning, was this Day read.

Message to Lords.

Sir John Temple carried to the Lords, for their Concurrence, the Order for Subscriptions, to begin from the First of December, in the Ordinance for a Fourth Part of Adventurers upon Lands: The Order giving Directions to the Commissioners of the Great Seal, touching the presenting Ministers to Livings.

Seizing Hudson.

A Letter from the Lieutenant of the Tower, of the Thirteenth Instant, to Mr. Speaker, concerning the seizing of one Hudson, with his Brother, was read.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth approve of what the Lieutenant of the Tower has done, in seizing upon and securing of one Hudson, who, with his Brother, came to visit Michael Hudson, a Prisoner: And do Order, That he do continue them still so secured until further Order: And that it be referred to the Committee this Day appointed, where Mr. Scott has the Chair, to examine the said Persons: And the said Committee has Power to give Order, either for the Detention of the said Persons, or Discharge of them, as they shall see Cause.

Impeachments.

The House proceeded in the Business of the Impeachments.

And Mr. Myles Corbett and Mr. Thomas Scott reported, and read, the particular Orders and Warrants signed by the Lords accused, and other Informations and Matters of Evidence against the said Lords.

Resolved, &c. That this House do proceed in the Business of the Impeachments on Wednesday Morning next, the first Business.
