Day's Petition.

ORDERED, That the Petition of Tho. Day be referred to the Committee for Privileges.

Sir Edw. Bois had this Petition away.

Copley's Estate.

1^a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Settling of certain Lands and Tenements upon the Heirs Males of Wm. Copley.

Popham's Cause.

Ordered, That Sir Fr. Popham's Cause, in regard it was the second Petition, that was preferred to the Committee for Courts of Justice, shall be the next Cause, that shall be heard, at the said Committee, after Clegatt's Cause.

Warwick Petition.

Ordered, That the Petition from the Gentry, and divers of the Freeholders, of the County of Warwick, be referred to the same Committee as Mr. Combe's Petition, and the other Petition from the County of Warwick, are referred.

Bp. of Bath and Wells.

Ordered, That the Petition of the Mayor and Burgesses of the City of Gloucester be referred to the Committee for the Bishop of Bath and Welles: And the Committee of Twenty-four may make use of so much of that Petition, as will conduce to the Preparing of the Remonstrance.

Leave to withdraw Petition.

Ordered, That He that exhibited and avowed the Petition against the Mayor of Shrewsbury, may have Liberty to withdraw his Petition.

Stannaries.

2da vice lecta est Billa, An Act concerning the Stannaries; upon Question, committed unto Mr. Coryton's Committee: And are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Dutchy-chamber.

Resold, upon the Question, That Mr. Coryton's Committee, shall be now revived, as to the Bill of the Stannaries only.

Charge against Judge Berkeley.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the Report concerning the Judges shall now be made.

Mr. Hide reports, from the Committee for the Judges, the State and Nature of the Charge against Judge Berkeley.

Triennial Parliaments.

Upon Mr. Prideaux his Report from the Committee appointed to consider of the Amendments to the Bill for Triennial Parliaments, sent from the Lords; it was

Resolved, That Mr. Hampden should go up to the Lords with a Message, presently to desire a free Conference with their Lordships, by a particular Committee, of such a Number, as their Lordships shall think fit, concerning those Amendments, that were sent down from their Lordships to the Bill of Triennial Parliaments.

Impeachment of Judge Berkeley.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Sir Robert Berkeley Knight, One of the Judges of the King's-bench, shall be accused by this House, in the Name of all the Commons of England, of High Treason, and other great Misdemeanours.

Resolved, upon the Question, That a Message be forthwith sent to the Lords, to accuse Sir Robert Berkeley Knight, One of the Judges of the King's-bench, of High Treason, and other great Misdemeanours, in the Name of this House, and of all the Commons of England; and to desire, that he may be forthwith committed; and that, within some convenient Time, this House will resort to their Lordships with particular Accusations and Articles against him.

Sir Jo. Culpeper is appointed to go up with this Message.

Committee for the Judges.

Ordered, That the Committee for the Judges do meet this Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Duchychamber.

Triennial Parliaments.

Mr. Hampden brings Answer from the Lords, that their Lordships do agree to a free Conference, at Three of Clock this Afternoon, in the Painted Chamber, by a Committee of Twenty-two of their House, with a proportionable Number of this House.

Ordered, That the first Forty-four of the Committee for the Parliament Bill do meet Twenty-two of the Lords at a free Conference this Afternoon, at Three of Clock, in the Painted Chamber.

Mr. Prideaux, Mr. Palmer, Mr. Whittlcok, Mr. Maynard, Mr. Strode, Mr. Nath. Fines, Mr. Grimston, Mr. Glyn, Sir Walth. Erle, are appointed to manage the Conference.

Privilege.

Ordered, That the Business concerning Mr. Arundell, and Sir Gamaliel Capell, be respited till To-morrow Morning, Mr. Arundell not being now here.

Grigg's Petition.

Ordered, That the humble Petition of Michael Grigg Esquire, be, upon the whole Matter of the Petition, referred to the Committee for Wools and Woolfels.

Captives of Algiers.

Ordered, That the Committee for the Captives in Algiers be revived; to begin this Day Sevennight.

Forests.

Ordered, That the Committee for Forests be revived; to begin this Day Fortnight.

Printing.

Ordered, That the Sub-committee concerning the Printing of Books be revived; to begin this Day Sevennight.

Committees.

Ordered, That all other Committees, which by a former Order were laid down for a while, be revived; to begin this Day Three Weeks.

Ecclesiastical Canons.

Mr. Whittlock, Mr. Bagshaw, Mr. Grimston, Mr. Palmer, Mr. Reignolds, Mr. Glinne, Mr. White, Mr. Nicholas, Mr. Hide, are appointed to attend the Committee for the Lord of Cant', concerning the Transferring, and other Matters, touching the new Canons.

Relief of the Army, &c.

The Amendments to the Bill for the Relief of the King's Army, and the Northern Counties, returned from the Lords, (by Order, upon the Question, ingrossed) were now read the Third time; and, upon the Question, the Bill with the Amendments passed.

Impeachment of Judge Berkeley.

Sir Jo. Culpeper acquaints the House, that, according to the Commands of this House, he had accused Judge Berkeley of High Treason; and that, after he had a while withdrawn, he was called in again; and then the Lord Keeper told him, that they had sent for Judge Berkeley; and that, so soon as he came, they had committed him to safe Custody.

Army Supply.

Ordered, That Sir Wm. Uvedall shall have the like Order of this House, as formerly he had, concerning the Receiving and Conveying the Monies appointed for the King's Army.

St. Gregorie's Church.

Ordered, That the Committee for St. Gregorie's, by Paule's, do sit on [Monday at Two] of Clock, in the Star-chamber.
