PRAYERS.

Information from Yarmouth.

ORDERED, That this Information this Day received from Yarmouth, and the whole Business thereupon depending, be referred to the Committee of Newcastle: And all the Knights and Burgesses of the County of Norfolk are added to this Committee.

Forces in Ireland.

That the Commissary of Carrickfergus do deliver to the Thousand Soldiers of the Foot Regiment, and the Three hundred Soldiers of the Horse Regiment, raised by Mr. Chichester and Mr. Hill, and are mustered, and in actual Service, to the Value of Two Shillings and Four-pence a Man, every Week, in Victual, to keep them together in the Service, to be taken unto them by way of Imprest from this Day; and so continued, until this House shall take some farther Resolution concerning their Pay and Entertainment.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Commissioners for Irish Affairs, to draw up an Order.

Irish Affairs.

A Copy of a Letter from the Lord of St. Albans, of the Eighteenth of May, to the Lords Justices of Ireland, concerning his Proceedings towards the Town of Galloway, was this Day read; and likewise the Earl of Clanricard's Propositions to Galloway; and the Copy of the Submission of Galloway.

Ordered, That this Business concerning Galloway, be taken into Consideration To-morrow Morning, at Nine of Clock.

King's Answer to Propositions.

According to a former Order, the House proceeded to the Consideration of his Majesty's Answer to the Nineteen Propositions of both Houses: And the Preamble to the Propositions was first read.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the Consideration of this Preamble shall be referred to a Committee.

Mr. Holles, Mr. Crue, Mr. Pierrepointe, Sir Jo. Strangewayes, Mr. N. Fienis, Sir Philip Stapilton, Mr. Whitlock, Mr. Pym, Mr. Waller, Mr. Hampden, Sir Robert Crane, Sir Tho. Barrington, Sir Jo. Coke, Mr. Selden, Sir H. Vane, Mr. Palmer, Mr. Glyn;

This Committee is to consider of the Preamble of his Majesty's Answer to the Nineteen Propositions of both Houses; and to prepare an Answer to it: And are to meet To-morrow in the Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Star-chamber.

This Committee being named, the House proceeded to the rest of his Majesty's Answer.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the House be forthwith resolved into a Committee, to consider of the Propositions made by both Houses, and his Majesty's Answer to each particular Proposition.

Resolved, upon the Question, That these Words in the Ordinance of both Houses, for Securing the Hundred thousand Pounds lent by the particular Citizens, viz. "and urgent Affairs of this Kingdom," shall be left out of that Ordinance.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair: And

Mr. Whittlock was called to the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

And the House was, by Order, adjourned till Two of Clock.

King's Answer to Propositions.

THE House met according to the Order; and was presently resolved into a Committee, according to the Order of the Forenoon; and Mr. Whitlocke called to the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Whittlocke reports the Second Vote only, which passed at the Committee; viz. That this Committee shall no further insist upon this First Proposition, as now it is.

It was thereupon Resolved, upon the Question, That this House shall no further insist upon this First Proposition, as now it is.

Ordered, That the House be resolved into a Committee To-morrow Morning, at Nine of the Clock, further to take into Consideration his Majesty's Answer to the Propositions.

Transporting Calve Skins.

Mr. Wingate acquainted the House that he had viewed the Calve Skins, according to an Order of the House; and found them to be according to the Certificate; and are therefore to be delivered, according to former Order, to be transported.
