PRAYERS.

Declaration.

THE House according to the Order of Yesterday, resumed the Declaration, and proceeded with it; The which being read quite through; and passed, by Vote, upon the Question, with the Additions and Amendments; and, by Vote, upon the Question, ordered to be sent up to the Lords; and their Lordships Concurrence desired therein.

Trial of Justice Berkeley.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Robert Rich and Mr. Page;

The Lords have commanded us to acquaint you, that they are ready to proceed with the Impeachment and Trial of Mr. Justice Berkeley, if this House be ready to come up.

Message to Lords.

Ordered, That a Message shall go to the Lords; and, by that Message, the Votes, and the Petition Yesterday sent from the Lords; carried up to the Lords; to the which this House has agreed, with some Amendments.

Mr. Fines went up with this Message.

Trial of Justice Berkeley.

Ordered, That the Members appointed to manage the Trial of Justice Berkeley, shall go up to that Business.

Answer returned by the same Messengers; The House is resolved to send up some of their Members presently, to manage the Trial against Justice Berkeley.

King's Oath.

Ordered, That the Committee that was appointed for the last Declaration do examine the King's Oath, with the Record, that it may be inserted into that Declaration: And that they bring it in on Monday Morning.

Levying Men for Ireland.

That a Committee shall be nominated to prepare an Order for the Levying and Raising of Men for the Service of Ireland.

Resolved, upon the Question, That this House doth hold it fit, that a Warrant should be desired of his Majesty, for the Raising of Ten thousand Men for the immediate Service of Ireland: And that the Lord Falkland do represent this to his Majesty with all Speed.

Mr. Lisle, Mr. Strode, Mr. Marten, Mr. Serjeant Wilde, Mr. Crue, Mr. Pierrepointe, Mr. Browne, Sir Ro. Coke, or any Three of them;

This Committee is to prepare an Order for the Raising of Men for the Service of Ireland: And are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Court of Wards.

Justice Burkeley.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Ro. Riche and Mr. Page;

The Lords command us to acquaint this House, that, in regard the Time is grown so late, and that the Business of Justice Barkeley is of that Length, that they hold it fit to put it off till Tuesday, Eight of Clock.

Naval Forces.

Resolved, upon the Question, That this Order for Raising of One thousand Men for the additional Forces by Sea, shall be committed to the Committee formerly appointed to prepare an Order for the Raising of Men for the Service of Ireland.

Transporting Horses.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Sir Jo. Hamilton, Gentleman of the Horse to Marquis Hamilton, shall have Mr. Speaker's Warrant to transport Eleven pacing Nags, into France: And that Alexander Simpson, a Scotchman, employed by the said Sir Jo. Hamilton, be permitted to carry them over.

Letter to Yorke Committee.

Ordered, That a Letter shall be prepared to be sent to the Committees at Yorke, to give them Directions to present the Petition and Votes passed by both Houses Yesterday, to his Majesty.

Lords agree to Votes, &c.

Mr. Fienis brings Answer, That the Lords do agree to the Amendments of the Votes, and the Petition.

Deputy Lieutenant.

Ordered, That this House doth approve Sir Walth. Pye to be a Deputy Lieutenant for the County of Bucks; and that he be recommended to the Lord Lieutenant: And that this Message be sent to the Lords, by Mr. Cromwell, on Monday Morning next.

Privilege.

Tho. Clerke did inform of the Breach and Contempt of an Order of this House.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Gregory Huckmore the Master, and Gregory Huckmore the Servant, shall be forthwith sent for as Delinquents, by the Serjeant at Arms, for breaking the Privilege of this House, in contemning an Order of this House.

Gen. Skippon.

Ordered, That the Three Votes concerning Serjeant Major General Skippon, shall be forthwith printed.

Person to attend.

Ordered, That Rich. Lownes, that printed the Letter from the Committee at Yorke, shall be sent for to attend the House on Monday Morning next.

Providing Money.

Ordered, That the Grand Committee of the whole House shall sit this Afternoon, to consider of some Ways for the Providing of present Monies.
