PRAYERS.

Relief of the Army, &c.

2da vice lecta, AN Act for the farther Relief of his est Billa, Majesty's Army, and the Northern Parts of the Kingdom; upon Question, committed unto a Committee of the whole House; and are to meet the next Morning the House sits.

Ordered, That whereas, among the Commissioners Names for the Counties of Oxon and Gloucester, and the City of Gloucester, Mr. Speaker is only named Wm. Lent-hall, Esquire; it is now Ordered, that it should be expressed Wm. Lenthall, Esquire, Speaker of the House of Commons; and that he be ranked in the First Place.

Petition to the King for Redress of Grievances.

Ordered, That the Committee of Twenty-four, that was formerly appointed for the Remonstrance of the State of the Kingdom, shall collect the Heads of such of the great Grievances of the Kingdom as they shall think fit; and dispose them into Form of a Petition, and present them to the House; so to desire the Lords to join with this House, in representing them to his Majesty, for Redress: And are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Court of Wards.

Trial of E. of Straford.

Mr. Pimme went up to the Lords, to desire, that such of their Lordships as this House shall have Occasion to make use of, in the Trial of the Earl of Straford, would be pleased to be present at the said Trial; and, by name, the Lord Treasurer, Lord Admiral, Earl of Bristoll, Earl of Holland, and Lord Conway.

He also named to the House some other Lords, that the House should have Occasion to make use of; namely, the Lord Primate of Armagh, E. Moreton, and the Lord Neoburgh

Mr. Pimme likewise nominated some Members of this House, viz.Mr. Treasurer, Sir Wm. Penyman, SirJo. Hotham, Sir Hugh Cholmelcy, Mr. Henry Cholmely, Mr. Cha. Price, Sir Jo. Strangewayes, Mr. Comptroller, Mr. Hen. Piercy, Sir Wm. Uvedale, Sir Fred. Cornwallis, Sir Hen. Mildmay, Mr. Nicholls, Mr. Finch, Sir Tho. Heale, Sir Tho. Barrington, Mr. Herbert Price.

A Note of these Names was given to the Serjeant at Arms attending on this House: And he was ordered to give Notice to the Members, to be there present, upon all Occasions.

Committees.

Ordered, That the Committee for publick Bills, and the Committee for the Customers, only, shall be revived; to meet this Afternoon, in their usual Places.

Star-chamber.

Ordered, That the Committee for the Bill of the Star-chamber shall have power to take the other Bill concerning the Star-chamber, which has been once read, out of the House; and to take it into Consideration, with the other Bill; and, out of both, to make one; and present it to the House.

Leave of Absence.

Mr. Benson of Knasborough, has leave to go down into the Country, and to be absent for a time.

Disbanding the Army, &c.

Ordered, That the Matter of this Report now made, concerning the Disbanding of the Armies, and Levying of new Forces, and the whole Debate thereupon, be re-committed to the Committee last appointed for the King's Army; to prepare Heads for a Conference, and to present them to the Consideration of the House, at the next Sitting of the House: And are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Court of Wards.

Trial of E. of Straford.

Ordered, That the House meet, as a Committee, To-morrow at Eight of Clock, at the Trial of the Earl of Straford, in Westminster-hall.
