Prayers.

Privilege.

A COMPLAINT being made to the House, That Charles Stutevile Esquire hath entered upon the Estate late of Mr. Justice Dolben; which, upon his Death, descended and came unto Gilbert Dolben Esquire, a Member of this House, as his Heir and Executor; and hath committed great Wastes and Spoils thereupon; in Breach of the Privilege of this House;

Ordered, That the said Charles Stutevile be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, for the said Breach of Privilege.

Edwards' Estate.

An ingrossed Bill, from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Thomas Edwards to sell Part of his Estate, for the Payment of Debts; and to restrain and disable him to commit Waste upon the Residue of the said Estate; was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Sir Robert Cotton, Sir Robert Davers, Mr. Hedger, Mr. Clarke, Mr. Waller, Mr. Lutterell, Mr. Fuller, Mr. Christy, Mr. Biddulph, Mr. Freke, Sir Jervas Elwes, Mr. Hutchinson, Mr. England, Mr. Blofield, Major Vincent, Mr. Vaughan, Mr. Fenwick, Mr. Dolben, Sir John Key, Mr. Kenyon, Mr. Bickerstaffe, Sir William York, Mr. Price, Mr. Burdet, Mr. Hungerford, Mr. Sim. Smith, Mr. Arnold, Mr. Henly, Mr. Ogle; and all the Members that serve for the County of Salop, and North-Wales: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Four a Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Special Bails.

A Bill for settling the Method of taking Special Bails in the Court of King's Bench; and for the Filing, Entering, and Docquetting, of all such Bails in the several Courts of Law at Westminster; was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Vexatious Suits.

A Bill for the Amendment of the Laws, in taxing Costs, and preventing Suits for involuntary Trespasses, was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Punishing Mutiny and Desertion.

The House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Bill for Continuance of the Act for punishing Officers and Soliders who shall mutiny, or desert their Majesties Service; and for punishing false Musters; and for the Payment of Quarters; for One Year longer.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
The Lord Coningsby took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

The Lord Coningsby reported from the said Committee, That they had gone through the Bill, and made several Amendments; and had examined and considered the Complaint made to the House, the Twelfth Instant, of Men being pressed for Land-Service; and had come to a Resolution therein; both which the Committee had directed him to report to the House, when the House would please to receive the same.

Ordered, That the said Report be made upon Saturday Morning next.

Ways and Means.

Ordered, That the Report from the Committee of the whole House, to whom it was referred to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supplies to be granted to their Majesties, for the Maintenance of the Fleet, and Land-Forces, for the Service of the Year 1694, which, by Order, was to be made this Morning, be made Tomorrow Morning.

Disfranchising Stockbridge Borough.

Ordered, That the Committee, to whom the Bill to disable the Borough of Stockbridge, in the County of Southampton, from sending Burgesses to serve in Parliament for the future . . . . . . be revived: And have Power to send the Persons, Papers, and Records.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be revived.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
