Prayers.

A MESSAGE from the Lords, by Sir Miles Cooke and Mr. Methwyn;

Bathurst's Estate.

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have passed a Bill, intituled, An Act to enable Theodore Bathurst to make a Jointure for his Wife; and to charge Monies on Part of his Estate in Yorkshire: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Penwarne's Estate.

Also, the Lords have passed another Bill, intituled, An Act to enable Robert Penwarne to sell Lands, to pay Debts: To which they also desire the Concurrence of the House.

Dean of Canterbury to preach on 5th June.

Ordered, That the Dean of Canterbury be desired to preach before this House, at St. Margarett's, Westminster, upon the Fifth Day of June next; the Day appointed, by their Majesties Proclamation, for a General Fast: And that Mr. Hamden do acquaint him with such the Desires of the House.

Conference desired with Lords.

Ordered, That the Lord Eland do go up to the Lords, to desire a free Conference, upon the Subject Matter of the last Conference.

The Lord Eland reports, That, he having been according to the Order of the House, with the Lords, to desire a free Conference, the Lords do agree to a free Conference To-morrow Morning, at Eleven of the Clock.

Debtors Relief.

Ordered, That Sir Edw. Harley, Mr. Brewer, Mr. Bickerstaffe, Mr. Gorge, Mr. Christy, Sir John Carew, Mr. Blowfeild, Mr. Reignolds, Mr. Rich. Hart, Mr. Smith, Sir Nevill Catlyn, and all the Gentlemen of the Long Robe, be added to the Committee, to whom the Bill for Relief of poor Prisoners is referred.

Subsidy.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the Consideration of the Bill for granting a Subsidy to their Majesties.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Hamden took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Hamden reports from the Committee of the whole House, That they had made some Progress in the Bill; but had not, as yet, gone through the same.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be revived.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine of the Clock.
