Memorandum: That the 3d. a day in money made payable by this establishment to each foot soldier of the garrison of Tangier shall be from time to time paid to the Cols. of each Regiment, out of which they are to furnish the said soldiers with clothes, shirts, shoes, stockings and other necessaries; the same to be always bought in Ireland and no where else, and that at as easy rates as may be; and [the Cols. are] to pay the remainder, if any, in money to the said soldiers. | |||||
Memorandum: That 8d. a day out of the 2s. a day hereby payable to each Trooper of said garrison shall from time to time be paid to such Surveyor as the King shall appoint to be by him laid out for providing such stores and quantities of horsemeat as are now allowed to each horseman at Tangier; and the remaining 16d. a day shall be paid to the respective Captains of Horse out of which they are to furnish the said Troopers with clothes, boots, belts and other necessaries to be bought in Ireland etc. ut supra. | |||||
