Warrant from same to Edward Seymour, Treasurer
of the Navy. Richard Kent, Esq., has lent to the
King 10,000l. which by agreement is to be repaid
by the sale of a certain parcel of tin belonging
to the King so soon as same shall be brought to
London and sold. Meanwhile he is to have
tallies deposited in his hands for his security. You
are to deposit with him tallies on the Customs
to that amount struck for the service of the Navy,
until said tin shall be brought and put into the
hands of Sir William Hooker, Kt., one of the aldermen
of London, when said tallies are to be
re-delivered to you or you shall otherwise be
discharged thereof.

4,700l. upon both the said accompts ; and the rest
of his sureties having settled their estate so that
the King's extent cannot touch them, thus leaving
only said Gwynne's estate under extent to the
value of above 2,000l. ; said Gwynne having in his
petition to Treasurer Danby proposed to lay down
said estate and a debt of 4,200l. duo to him from
several bankers, to satisfy the King's debt.

Goddard who is indebted 1,400l. to the King for
an arrear of Hearthmoney in co. Suffolk, he having
petitioned the King for an allowance of law charges
expended in the said receipt, which petition is now

Lands for a particular and ratal of the farm of the
Original Seal and Pre fines in the counties of Carnarvon,
Anglesey and Merioneth in North Wales, in order
to a new grant thereof to Eubale Thelwall and
Mathew Price for 14 years after the expiry of the
present grant thereof, all as desired by Sarah White,
widow, who prays a further lease to them of the
premises for 21 years after the 17 years in being
and at the present rent of 9l. per an. If any party
be grieved that excessive fines are imposed power
is to be granted for their appeal to the Lord Treasurer
or Chancellor of the Exchequer to moderate the
same, and such judgment to be final.

by Peter Starkenberg, one of said King's servants) :

Grantham commander, to petitioner to forward
same to Amsterdam, which transhipment at London
cannot be done without Treasurer Danby's permission,
as some of said goods are prohibited.

and be heard [thereupon].
