in order to be discharged of the penalty but they omitted to discharge

Exchequer for the said offence whereupon he gave bond to the late

William Lowndes to the Navy Commissioners. In your letter
of the 7th inst. to the Lord Treasurer you desired the issue of 5000l.
for imprests and bills of exchange. On the 12th inst. 3000l. thereof was
accordingly directed for the [Navy] Ordinary. My Lord now directs
the remaining 2000l. to be issued for imprests and bills of exchange
and to be placed to the head of Wear and Tear : to be supplied out of
the money that is advanced to the Treasurer of the Navy on this
year's Land Tax ; all notwithstanding the former direction for the
application of same to the course of the Navy. Disposition Book
