Greenwich whereon stands the Hobby stable with a tenement and

Master of the Horse and which Henry Morgrage and Thomas Joiner
enjoyed as Stablekeepers from 1631 until 1676 August 1 when the
Duke of Monmouth as Master of the Horse to Charles II granted
a warrant for same to Sir William Boreman and since Sir William's
death it is claimed by his lady and William Yardley who have sold
it to Sir John Morden pretending that it belongs to the manor of
Old Court in Greenwich: therefore praying instructions to the

late Col. Codrington the chief command of those islands (pursuant
to the said late Colonel's commission) devolved upon the Lieutenant
Governor and Council of the island of Nevis, whereby the moiety
of the salary and perquisites of the Governor in Chief of the said
[Leeward] Islands belongs to the said Lieut. Governor from the death
of the said late Colonel until your arrival there. It is the King's
pleasure that you satisfy to the said Lieut. Governor of Nevis
one moiety of the salary and perquisites of the Governor in Chief
