Royal warrant to the Lords Justices of Ireland to place the following
Regiments (sent into Ireland on the conclusion of the peace and
which were regularly subsisted in England) on the Establishment
as paid in Ireland from the respective days as below: and in the
case of those Regiments which were sent from Flanders and were
not regularly paid their subsistence to the time of their embarcation
for Ireland that same be placed on the said Establishment from the
days of their landing there; all by reason that difficulties have
arisen in the application of the King's order which directs the
subsisting of them there from the time of their landing only, whereas
they pretend that they have been subsisted on the English Establishment for a period short of that date and thereby are losers of the
intermediate days' pay whilst other Regiments arrived there
before the expiry of the time for which they were paid on the other
side and thereby may have been paid doubly for some days. |
