1689. July 31. Privy seal for a salary of 100l. per an. to Geo. Oxenden Dr. of Laws for the office and offices of Judge Official and Commissary of the Court of Admiralty of the Cinque Ports: to date from 1689 Lady day and to be payable out of such ships, goods or other things as during the present war with France shall be adjudged as prize, or failing same then to be paid out of the Exchequer or other revenue as the king shall direct by sign manual.
