To John Monypeny, M.A. Collation and provision to him, a priest, by both parents of noble and baronial race, a kinsman of James, king of Scotland and nephew of William, great marshall of the realm of Scotland, of the rectory of the parish church of Culase in the diocese of St. Andrews, value not exceeding 15l. sterling, void at the apostolic see, and
therefore reserved, by the death there of James de Camera; whether it be void thus, or by the resignation of the said James de Camera, or in any other way; notwithstanding that he holds a canonry and prebend of Brechin, and that the pope recently granted him provision of the perpetual vicarage of Obyn in the diocese of Aberdeen, value not exceeding 6l. and 14l. sterling respectively. Mandate (the pope having been informed by William Russel, a canon of Tuam, that lately John Bremichyam, priest, of the diocese of Tuam, procured by a money payment his presentation by the lay patron and his institution to the perpetual vicarage of Dunmor in the said diocese, on its voidance by the death of John Stoch, and under pretext thereof obtained possession and has detained it for about three years, thereby incurring the guilt of simony) if William will accuse John before them etc. as usual, to summon John etc., and if they find the above to be true, to deprive John, and in that event to collate and assign the said vicarage, value not exceeding 8 marks sterling, to William; whether it become void by such deprivation, or be void by the death of the said John Stoch or of Odo Michacgan, or by the resignation of Thady Yhaulx (rectius Yhanly), priest, of the said diocese, or in any other way; and notwithstanding that he was lately received by authority of the ordinary
