To the prior of St. Mary's, Monaincha (Insula Vivencium), and St. John Baptist's by le Naen [a]ch, in the diocese of Killaloe, and the chancellor of Killaloe. Mandate to collate and assign to William Oblathmaic, perpetual vicar of Kyllemuyn in the diocese of Killaloe (who was lately dispensed by papal authority, as the son of unmarried parents, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure, and whose mother is of a race of dukes), the rectory of Maddrine in the said diocese, of the patronage of laymen, and value not exceeding 12 marks sterling, so long void, because Cornelius Okennede held it more than a year without being ordained priest, that its collation lapsed to the apostolic see, summoning and removing the said Cornelius, who has thereafter unduly detained it for about five years without any canonical title; notwithstanding that William holds the said vicarage, value not exceeding 2 marks. Mandate—the pope having been informed by Roderick Doncani, clerk, of the diocese of Argyll, that Geoffrey [son] of Geoffrey (Goffredus Goffredi) [Doncani], perpetual vicar of St. Ferchanus's in Cnapdull, in the said diocese, has dilapidated the vicarage and committed perjury and simony and other crimes and excesses [not named]—if Roderick (who was lately dispensed, as the son of unmarried parents, to be promoted etc. as in the preceding) will accuse Geoffrey before him, to summon Geoffrey, and, if he find the above or enough thereof to be true, to deprive him, and in that event to collate and assign the vicarage, value not exceeding 8l. sterling, to Roderick. Mandate—the pope having been informed by John Bricii, clerk, of the diocese of Argyll, that John [son] of Fynlaius Prioris Macphilib, perpetual vicar of Kilcalmonell (Sancti Colmaneli) in Cnapdul, in the said diocese, has dilapidated the vicarage, is a notorious fornicator, and has committed simony and other crimes and excesses [not named]—if the said John Bricii (who is in about his twenty-third year, and was lately dispensed, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted etc. as in the preceding) will accuse the said John Fynlaii etc. as in the preceding, mutatis mutandis (e.g. the value of the vicarage does not exceed 7l. sterling); whether it be then void by such deprivation, or be already void by the death of Malcolm Cristini or in any other way.
