Reservation to the pope's gift, for collation to him, of the perpetual vicarage of Carale in the diocese of St. Andrews, value not exceeding 30l. sterling, about to become void by the pope's promotion of George, elect of Argyll alias Lismore, to that see, and by his consecration, which is to take place. Litterarum sciencia etc.

Mandate to reserve to his gift, and afterwards to collate and assign to John Oconalain, rector of Brimolt in the diocese of Kildare, priest, a benefice with or without cure wont to be assigned to secular clerks, even if a canonry and prebend etc. of a cathedral or a collegiate church, value not exceeding 25 or 18 marks accordingly, in the gift of the bishop and the dean and chapter etc. of Kildare and the prior and convent of St. Mary's, Connail, of the order of canons regular of St. Augustine, in the said diocese; notwithstanding that he holds the said rectory, value not exceeding 4 marks.Dignum arbitramur.
