Mandate to collate and assign to Patrick Lochlonnach, priest, of the diocese of Derry, the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 2 marks, of Grelleach in the said diocese, void by the death of Roger Ocnamhsi; whether it be void as stated, or by the resignation of John Ogubuyn. Mandate to collate and assign to Patrick Lochnonnach (cf. f. 6d), priest, of the diocese of Derry, the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 8 marks, of Culdabtha in the said diocese, void by the death of Nemias Odufaghy, although Arhalt Odufaghy, priest, of the same diocese, who is to be removed, has detained possession for more than ten years; whether it be void as stated, or by the death of Sitrag Obrolchan, or in any other way, notwithstanding that the pope has recently [f. 6d] ordered provision to be made to him of the perpetual vicarage of Grelleach in the same diocese, value not exceeding 2 marks. (fn. 2) Mandate to collate and assign to Patrick Okyalare, clerk, of the diocese of Cloyne, the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 10 marks, of St. Mary's, Corkmoyhed, in the diocese of Limerick (Limiricen.), void because the late Denis Mackennery held it for more than a year without having himself ordained priest and without dispensation, removing Thomas Torgaez, priest, of the said (dicte) diocese, who has unlawfully detained possession of it for more than three years, having obtained collation by authority of the ordinary after the collation had by the Lateran statutes lapsed to the apostolic see. Mandate—Odo Osomachan, perpetual vicar of Culdea in the diocese of Elphin, priest, having this day informed the pope that formerly Cornelius Osomachan, priest, obtained by authority of the ordinary the perpetual vicarage of Drymunan in the said diocese, on its voidance in a certain way, and that Donald Osomachan, priest, got provision made to him by papal authority, alleging it to be void by the death of Nellanus Yhomochayn, and that, he too having obtained possession, the said Cornelius and he agreed to share the fruits etc. and have done so for about four years—if Odo will accuse in his presence the said Cornelius and Donald, to summon them and, if he find the accusation true, to deprive both of them, and in that event to collate and assign the said vicarage, value not exceeding 4 marks, to Odo; notwithstanding that he holds the above vicarage of Culdea [value not stated], which he is, as he has offered, to resign upon obtaining that of Drymunan. Mandate to collate and assign to John Macaberchun, clerk, of the diocese of Achonry (who lately received papal dispensation, as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure), the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 6 marks, of Assdara in the said diocese, void because Cormac Macdonnchaid held it for more than a year without having himself ordained priest and without dispensation. Mandate—the pope having learned that the rectory of Athnaryg in the diocese of Tuam, of the patronage of laymen, has been so long void by the death of Mylerus de Bremycheam that its collation by the Lateran statutes lapsed to the apostolic see, although William de Bremycheam, priest, of the said diocese has for more than four years unduly detained possession, as he still does, he being under disability by ‘Execrabilis,’ because before he obtained the said rectory he held together certain incompatible benefices without dispensation—to summon the said William and others concerned, and if he find the said rectory to be void as stated, or in any other way, to collate and assign it, value not exceeding 40 marks, to William Ocorcrayn, canon of Kilmacduagh, if found fit, who is in his twenty-second year and who lately received papal dispensation as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman, to be promoted etc. as above, f. 81, and who, fearing the power of Bremycheam, has no hope of obtaining justice in the city and diocese of Tuam; notwithstanding that he holds a canonry of Kilmacduagh and the prebend of Killenayn, value not exceeding 1 mark. Mandate to collate and assign to Patrick Mackamayl, clerk, of the diocese of Derry (who, without mentioning his illegitimacy, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, nobles, has had himself tonsured and has been received by authority of the ordinary as a canon of Derry, without however receiving any fruits on that account), the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 10 marks, of Tarahlehactfynnlegayn (sic) in the same diocese, which became and is still void by the death of John Ofylecan (or Osylecan), removing Nemyas Mackenayn, priest, of the same diocese, who has for more than ten years unduly detained possession, as he still does. Mandate to collate and assign to Malachy Maceadgha, priest, of the diocese of Derry (who lately received papal dispensation, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted etc. as above, f. 81, after which he was so promoted and obtained the rectory of Tarmucumun in the diocese of Armagh, on its voidance in a certain way), the said rectory, value not exceeding 12 marks, which has become and is still void by his resignation made to archbishop John; Murianus Migillaguib, priest, of the diocese of Armagh, who has unduly detained possession for about seven years, as he still does, being removed. Mandate to collate and assign to Dermit Obrayn, scholar, of the diocese of Ossory (who lately received papal dispensation, as the son of a priest, an Augustinian canon, and an unmarried woman, to be promoted etc. as above, f. 81), the rectory of Rathfaran with the church of Delge and its appurtenances, in the said diocese, with cure and of the patronage of laymen, value not exceeding 5 marks, so long void, because the late Keranus Ohelue held it for more than a year without having himself ordained priest and without dispensation, that its collation has by the Lateran statutes lapsed to the apostolic see, Donatus Ohelue, priest, of the same diocese, who has unduly detained possession for more than ten years, being removed. Mandate to collate and assign to Dermit Maclaind, priest, of the diocese of Kilmacduagh, the precentorship of Kilmacduagh, a non-major, non-elective dignity with cure, value not exceeding 2 marks, void because John Odubgilla, perpetual vicar of Killthomys in the said diocese, when holding it obtained the said vicarage by collation of the ordinary; Thady Odonnchuaga, priest, of the same diocese, who has unduly detained possession of the precentorship for more than two years, being removed. Collation and provision to him, who has been sent as an envoy to the pope by Charles king of the French, and who is M.A., of the above church, value not exceeding 70l. of old sterlings, void, and therefore reserved, by the death at the apostolic see of Andrew de Hawyk; notwithstanding that he holds canonries and prebends of Le Mans, Orleans, and St. Martin's Tours, value not exceeding 140l. petits tournois, and also a canonry and prebend of Glasgow and the archdeaconry of Whiteherne, value not exceeding 40l. of old sterlings, all of which he is, as he has offered, to resign after obtaining Lyston. Mandate to receive from Master John Preyn, papal chaplain and auditor, his proposed resignation of the rectory of St. Patrick's, Treym, in the diocese of Meath, he being so broken with age and bodily weakness that he cannot exercise the cure in person, and to collate and assign it, value not exceeding 100 marks, to Patrick Preyn, perpetual vicar of Tamlaght in the diocese of Dublin, M.A., reserving to John for life such a yearly pension as shall content him, to be paid by the said Patrick and his successors. 1424. 6 Id. Dec. SS. Apostoli, Rome f. 263d.)	To Nicholas de Atholia, doctor of canon law. Collation and provision of the parish church of Fediressow in the diocese of St. Andrews, value not exceeding 40l. of old sterlings, void at the apostolic see, and therefore reserved, by the resignation of William Croysier, made to the pope by his proctor Benedict de Guideloctis of Perugia (de Perusio); whether it be void as above, or by the death of Nicholas Inglis at the said see, or otherwise; notwithstanding that he holds, under a papal dispensation for life, the precentorship of Dunkeld, a non-major dignity, and the perpetual vicarage of Stramyglo in the diocese of Dunkeld, value together not exceeding 60l. of like sterlings (sexaginta librarum Turonensium [rectius sterlingorum] similium), and that the pope lately [above, p. 102] made pro- vision to him of canonries of Aberdeen and Moray with reservation of as many prebends, and of a dignity, etc. [of one] of those churches, dispensing him to hold for life, together with the said precentorship or vicarage, such dignity etc., and to resign them, simply or for exchange, as often as he pleased, and hold instead two other incompatible benefices. He is hereby dispensed to hold Fediressow for one year together with two of the said precentorship, vicarage, dignity etc. Within the year he is to exchange one of such three incompatible benefices for another benefice compatible with the other two; if not, he is thereafter to resign the said vicarage. Mandate to collate and assign to David Odub'gilla, scholar, of the diocese of Kilmacduagh, who is the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman, and is in his twenty-second year only, after dispensing him to be promoted to all, even holy orders, and after he has been tonsured, the rectory de Dyseyrthceallayd’ in the said diocese, value not exceeding 6 marks, of the patronage of laymen, so long void, because David de Burgo, who is to be removed, has held it for more than a year without having himself ordained priest, that by the Lateran statutes its colla- tion has lapsed to the apostolic see.
